Italy's population is 60 million, we're 330 million. So it's kind of makes sense that they the US has passed them up. China not having a higher # is fishy.
But honestly, you can't really defend how he and his administration responded to this. Mulvaney a month ago basically saying that the attention the CV was getting in the press was only because Democrats wanted to hurt the presidents chances of re-election...
