I don't drink coffee often, but if I do, I go for something more on the sweet side and less on the strong coffee taste side. I go to Coffee Bean and Tea Leaf.

I had a great aunt who resided in Utah and like more then a few of my relatives, lived to be 100 years old. Being interviewed by the local paper she sited "starting each day with a strong cup o Jo" to reaching that milestone... of course she was tweaking the localsI don't drink coffee. It's one of the worst things you can put in your body.
Caffeine causes a surge in your blood sugar levels, for one thing, which is bad for your blood pressure. Caffeine also increases the production of hydrochloric acid in your stomach, and it's been linked to all sorts of reproductive problems ranging from prostate cancer to infertility problems and miscarriage.
Stay away from it if you want to be healthy.

I'm thinking of getting a drip coffee again, it just takes too long for me in the AM to do a french press when I'm rushing like a chicken with my head cut off in the AM

I can't see it taking that much more time to do FP though? Unless you set everything up for the drip machine the night before.
They have single cup coffee machines, but they're spendy if you want a good one.

I'd rather have the $20 FP![]()
just have a bitch of a time cleaning the ground beans at time, they clog up my garbage dispenser....the drip coffee you just throw the filter away.
I have a single cup brewer...i never use it though....dunno....maybe I should i have to buy the refills.
I just wash the grounds out down the sink. Been doing it for over a year in the same sink with no problems. I don't have a garbage disposal though.
I would take a quality coffee french pressed, over it being dripped any day of the week.
yeah, my garbage disposal is jammed up now that I was using the french press...happened in the past.
French Press is awesome...just takes maintenance.
yeah, i could do that but I still have to wash it out......
perhaps. maybe I'll start brewing again tomorrow.
I bought some agave nectar for sweetener.
are you vegan?

Nice, I usually get millstone. I'm not that picky when it comes to coffee, personally. You get it down there or have it shipped?

I bought some over christmas.![]()
I've never purchased coffee from them, outside of drinking a cup when I stop in. What do they charge per pound?
I think it was about 12.00. They have a lot of different kinds, some are really expensive!

I have no idea how much coffee costs. I don't brew enough at home to really care.

I'll check it out. I keep my coffee in the freezer, honestly at this point I can't tell the huge difference.
That's the best place to keep it. If you can vacuum seal it with a food saver, it's even better. That being said, just use it within a week to 10 days. I'm so persnickety about my coffee I have my own roaster.
