Years ago I played poker with Terrell. Extremely quiet dude, but very gracious and shared a bit of small talk with him. No ego about him.

I did win a pot against him, too. (In poker terms, that means I won a hand against him for money). IIRC, it wasn't much, like $15-20, but it was cool for my mid 20's to say I beat an NBA player in poker. lol.

Great guy. Grew up with him. All that money, all star games and SI covers never changed him.

Very. And actually, had someone not called him out by name, no one would have known. I mean, he was recognizable sort of... But still... He played it off and didnt hide. Just super chill. And he had no big bling or anything to make him think he did have money. It was a really cool experience.

Better than mine. I won an Arm wrestling contest with NY Giant guard while in town once. Damn man those are some braggin rights.
Broke my friggin arm, going against a carpenter, later that year. Spiraled that bugger right off all the way between the elbow and the shoulder.
Geez, it took 6 months to heel! Got to learn to live with small ups and short downs.:cool2:
