"He doesn't put himself above anyone or anything," Blazers coach Terry Stotts said. "In good times and bad times, he's always there. His teammates know he's all about the right things."

Ed Davis is one of the eight lottery picks on the current roster still hungry to secure his place in the league, the Blazers being his fourth stop since the Raptors drafted him 13th in 2010. The stars and team leaders he'd previously played with range from DeMar DeRozan to Zach Randolph and Marc Gasol to Kobe Bryant; Lillard stands apart from all of them because he's never invoked his star privilege to distance himself from his teammates.

"Some stars just do their thing. They don't really talk to anybody. Damian doesn't hold himself apart like that. He talks to everybody."

HOW DARE HE TRY TO INVOLVE OTHERS. STARS DON'T ALLOW OTHERS TO SHOOT THE BALL, don't you know?

I mean... it was kinda his fault for giving the ball to Plumlee three times in a row.

If I could stomach it, it would be interesting to look at those 4th quarter plays where Plumlee ended up looking so bad. What happened to the other guys who should have made themselves available to help him out? Against the Clippers there were always cutters available to receive a pass from Plumlee, but against the Warriors, it was like he was on an island with nobody but the Warriors in front of him.

Just listen with no sound.

Plum was going to deep in the key to make any plays he was getting caught underneath to far then he was getting trap and no where to go. He has to make that adjustment next game. In off season he need perfect a jump shot at the free throw.

Now it makes sense to why he play at a seemingly carelessness style, it is actually because he play at ease. he has, is, will be the best point guard in trailblazers history. now let beat the s--t out of those warriors. i believe that damian will go off against them tomorrow night. bring that 50 point back dame. #LillardTime

Why does the 4th best player on the team feel that he should be the leader?

He was practicing threes before Game 6 and he didn't hit a single one.
