What are some cool areas in your city?My favorite part of DC is the northeast part of it. Ive lived there most of my life. 2 cool areas in the northeast are Brookland and Capitol Hill.A very popular area is in China Town. Where the Verizon Center is located. There is also a bowling alley and a huge movie theatre.Another place is U street. It has a theatre that has a alot of popular plays. And they have the world famous Ben's Chili Bowl. :happy0144:

The Little League World Series, It's fun going there every year and hanging out with friends. The only problem is that it only lasts for a few weeks during the summer. It's pretty sweet being on ESPN all the time.

Supposively our town is has "historic downtown Benicia". Atleast thats what it says on an exit sign on the freeway. Probably because it's the older area of our town which has been there since the gold rush days. Also Benicia was the capitol of California for a few years and the capitol building is downtown. Another area is Lake Herman famous for being the spot where the Zodiac Killer made his debut murder. Of course they always say it was in Vallejo though and we gte no credit lol

I agree with that list, TheAnalyst. But dont forget ESPN Zone, I f*cking love that place.

I was also in china town at the Verizon Center when it was still called the "MCI center"

Haha I went to the ESPN Zone when I was in DC, much better than the one in Denver.Anyways, the main places to go in Denver is the 16th Street Mall (I think thats the name lol), Invesco Field at Mile High, and the Pepsi Center. Another fun place to go to is something called Friday Night Live. My friends and I go when there is nothing else to do, basically it is at the high school and you go there and chill, dance, and lots of other things. Lots of kids smoke weed and sh*t there though so I only go there every once in a while.

And theres this chain called Schlotskys and that place has the greatest sandwiches I've ever had. And I was very young but is heritage square with those slide things still there? Castle Rock was kinda cool aswell.

<div class='quotetop'>QUOTE (TheAnalyst @ Jul 7 2006, 04:03 AM) <{POST_SNAPBACK}></div><div class='quotemain'>That doesnt really tell us an area.</div> There's a draw bridge and a sail boat marina...and some parks...not much in Menasha.

In Dallas, there's not a whole lot for me. There's Deep Ellum (I'm not a huge fan of local bands), Fair Park (the state fair is cool once in a while), and the grassy gnoll. Not much else. Arlington is pretty cool though, it has Six Flags and Ameriquest Field... should be the home of the Cowboys soon, too.As for College Station, it's even worse... as the name implies, it's just a college city. So there's not a ton to do except be a crazy college student and drink profusely.

HAHA I usually own at the basketball shooting game they have. My highest score is 38.

Then by Plano there's this really rich neighborhood and it's just plain out pretty to look at. And there's the JFK assananation site, there's always people talking about conspiracy theories there. Dallas is a cool place.

The best section of my city is the road leading out of it.Oh wait thers this big place with a cinema, a science place which is pretty interesting, a bowling alley and an arcade, theres also a 3d movie theatre. But its about half an hour 45 mins away from my house.

It's a good thing if you're wrong too, because it's like Colbert says, who rides on one track or one wheel? Oh yeah, CLOWNS. And the grassy gnoll I talked about is the place right next to the street where JFK was assassinated (and some think he was shot from there). I've been into the fifth floor museum, too (aka the book depository). I like the city, it just bores me a lot. There's enough to do if you have money. White Rock Lake is pretty nice, and it's actually free.I live(d) pretty close to Plano in Richardson, but there's quite a few rich neighborhoods I guess. I dunno which one you mean. My best guess is Highland Park, but it's not exactly near Plano.<div class='quotetop'>QUOTE (Young Cus @ Jul 7 2006, 05:52 AM) <{POST_SNAPBACK}></div><div class='quotemain'>The best section of my city is the road leading out of it.</div>

well in Toronto we have the CN Tower wich is always fun to go in it and stand on the glass floor
cn-tower-02.JPG
then theres the Rogers Centre, wich has a hotel built into it and you get book a room and watch a ball game out of your window. It's a nice entertainment facility
toronto1.jpg
Then we have the hockey hall of fame, ACC and some other stuff

Wal-Mart. I don't know what else to say, I saw someone mention the state fair. I guess that counts but we really have nothing in our area that's cool and unique from another city.

Theres only really one good place to go called the Odyssey Arena, thats where the hockey team plays, it holds concerts too, but also has a bowling alley, the best cinema in the city, restraunts and clubs, its pretty good. The most historic is the Harland And Wolfe shipyard, famous for building the Titanic, too bad its getting closed down...Same fate as the titanic I supposeBut I absolutley hate this place in general.

in auckland there aint much interestin. there's the sky tower, blacktop courts, flea markets, that sorta thing. 1 thing that will be good tho is Sylvia Park, largest mall in the southern hemisphere, just 10 mins away from my place. I heard they gon have the largest cinema screen there too.

The Bottoms, The Peabody, Wolfchase Mall. ^that where me and my friends goMemphis is getting a ESPN Zone. Cant wait..it might be built already, just not opened. Im not sure.Adults go to the Gold Club, Platinum, and the Casinos(our casinos are very nice)there several other places, but it depends on what crowd your with.

US Airways Center, and perhaps Spring Training for a bunch of baseball teams(including my cubs) I guess.

My town sucks balls. Boston is extremely solid though. Love the Garden. Lots to do down there, its only like a 20 min/half hour drive.
