I've always had the hots for her:

This time-out for a word from a sponsor...

I didn't make a "both side's" arguments I said one side was doing something and looked bad, and the other side was doing something else and looked bad. All you've been able to manage is to tell me how only the Republicans look bad.

I explicitly mentioned the senate D's playing the same game that the R's are playing now and have played for the last 3 years

but the senate D's are in the minority. McConnell is in charge in the senate

Pelosi is in charge in the house and 10 days ago did the exact thing that both of us are saying needs to happen now. The D's in the house sat aside partisanship and pet projects in order to get a relief bill passed. The R's in the senate could do the same thing right now but aren't.

Love me some Neil Diamond. Actually saw him in concert when I was back East in the late 60s. Could possibly have been in Florida when I was there in '67.

Well, I absolutely said the Senate and the Republicans shouldn't be sliding their stuff into disaster relief bills.

Not
That's because Cuomo actually makes sense when he speaks.[/QUOTE

Not just that. He tells truth even when news is bad. He acts like a leader. He doesn't make shit up, or throw temper tantrums, or demand everyone praise him.

I think we both got here basically on the same path. I said that any legislation right now should be narrow. Get the easy things done first. My idea of easy would be unemployment insurance expansion, small business relief; and all kinds of help for hospitals and medical workers. Seems like those could be worked out pretty quickly if there was no added amendments coming in from either side. I did ask if that was being naive and Lanny basically told me to get off of fantasy island

I don't know if it's stress or I need sleep or what but I'm pretty pissed off today. I've been listening off and on to the "news" more the last few days trying to make sense of everything and to make sure I guide my family as best as I can through all that's going on. All that's done is really get under my skin though. I cannot believe how unfathomably bad our politicians are. We have Kate Brown giving off the most confusing statements ever it sounded like it came from my 5-year-old. We have all these "leaks" that are all completely one-sided, about these bills. We have a government that seems like they have 0 plans, no idea what the heck they're doing. - Yes, it's Trump - but the reaches of how just flat out imbecilic our government looks is far beyond just Trump.

Seriously hope that the next few years 3/4ths of these people are voted out.

Yeah I think so too. I'm not even sure how I actually "feel" about sending folks checks, or tax-credits, or unemployment, but whatever the heck they're going to do, I don't know why it's all steeped in political agenda's. If you're gonna help small businesses, individuals, and the health services/people, then do it without all this crap attached to it. Why does everything have to be well the peasants can get their little coin, that they'll enjoy for a little bit, while we rob them from behind.

and yeah, the House is now tearing a page out of the senate playbook and larding up their version of a relief bill

meanwhile, the economy circles the drain

Go here, then....

This is both infinitely long and very vague as to what the spending goes for.
It's as if you found this and linked it without ever reading it. I know you didn't read it because that would take three days of 8 hours a day reading.
How about a credible summary showing the pros and cons.

. I know you didn't read it because that would take three days of 8 hours a day reading.
Yet you somehow also know how vague the entire thing is even though he only posted it half an hour ago.

I read about 15 minutes worth. Every appropriation was very vague. You try it and tell me what you find.

I saw this in a washington post article and the qoute was pretty funny...
Summing it all up was Sen. John Neely Kennedy (R-La.), who took his turn on the Senate floor, shaking his head before declaring: “This country was founded by geniuses but it’s being run by a bunch of idiots.”

“You know what the American people are thinking right now?” Kennedy inquired rhetorically. “They’re thinking that the brain is an amazing organ. It starts working in a mother’s womb and it doesn’t stop working til you get elected to Congress.”

Trump says there's a big game changing drug coming in recard time folks!
It's a fucking lie. He did it again. He's talking about chloroquine. It was approved nearly a century ago for malaria. Til date, there have been no trials for it to treat coronavirus in the US.

Multiple people in Africa have died over the past few days after overdosing on chloroquine. This fucking moron directly is responsible for that.

And this drug is NOT preventative. He needs to stop suggesting that. A man in AZ thought this would prevent him from getting the virus and died after ODing. Fucking hell people, listen to the professionals no this quack in a clown suit.

I heard that they just started a double-blind trial with 200 patients at Cornell. We should find out pretty quickly whether there’s anything to it.

Do you think you can trust Trump to tell the truth? If you do then I've got some beach front property in Arizona to sell you.
Okay, I'm trusting that you were being slightly sarcastic don't believe Trump's lie about this.

Starting Tuesday. Results will take at least a month to actually evaluate. They need to administer for at least two weeks and the analysis will take at least a week after.
