Active cases down another 2300 today. Gonna be under 40K by the end of the weekend. South Korea actually reported more new cases yesterday than China did.
 
Is this a sign of the end times? The good book talks about Pestilence, Earthquakes & Famines as the end is near?

That, of course, is the major qualifier. "IF" the numbers are legit. We occasionally hear a rumor here or a report there that the numbers are being artificially falsified or depressed, but who's to know if that's just fearmongering.

Until I see/hear something reputable that indicates that the numbers are fake, I'm going to stick with the official reports and continue to be comforted.

Yeah, I'm much more likely to believe SK's numbers before China's.

I mean, he's probably right. Short-term fluctuations in the stock market aren't hugely meaningful and people watching the stock market day to day and reacting tend to make things worse.

Unfortunately, I feel like that would be the Trump administration's advice about everything, including the Coronavirus.

But for them to try to take a pandemic and seemingly hope that it comes here, and kills millions of people so that they could end Donald Trump's streak of winning, is a new level of sickness. You know, I don't know if this is coronavirus or Trump derangement syndrome, but these people are infected badly.

Positive test results for coronavirus in Oregon. Worked at Forest Hills elementary in lake oswego. About five miles from my house. I have three kids in nearby schools. Fun stuff.
 
CDC has been hamstrung by the Trump admin...I wouldn't look to them for guidance.
