You'll have to be a bit more specific if you want to have a discussion about the hypocrisy you mention. (I think we might be discussing different things.)

I will say, I am not blindly generalizing here. Some clear lines of admission have been drawn. I am confident in saying that anyone who still supports Trump today is harboring an ideology with a very ugly side. I do not say this lightly either... Members of my own family fall into this group (and they happen to be Southerns...just sayin').

I say all this not to double-down on my previous lash out (although all of this is 100% driven by frustration), but because it's hard to watch people pretend everything is misconstrued or misunderstood or fake news or biased or whathaveyou. I'm over it...use Google for other sources, dorks. There is a body of evidence that Trump is the embodiment of the Bad America and at this point it isn't about political party but us, the people, ie Actual America. I respect Republicans that are like "Fuck that guy" more than most.

A quick clarification: if you are talking about Biden and the accusations against him, I'm with you. Whether or not the allegations are true, I think it is a bad look to get into the "well, your candidate has assaulted more" talk. I wrote too much...

Can I just say, Trump is 4-8 years.

Hatred can last a lifetime....and have a much more long lasting and negative effect on a society. Just ask Black America.

So while some of us have butted heads with Trump haters, it by no means we are pro Trump. It just means that we understand that hatred is not going to help anything. It can actually cause more long term societal damage than Trump.
