True, being better physical specimens should shield them to a degree but from what I understand, the virus can adversely affect the lungs even in the healthiest individuals who survive the virus. So we can't know for sure would/could happen.

now, we're at nearly 10 million tests, and the tests/million is over 29,000 and the mortality rate is 5.9%. The worldwide mortality rate is 6.75%. I keep reading, and hearing, that the rate will end up under 1%. So then, with the US nearing the 10 million test plateau and the world at around 40-50 million tests, I'd expect those death rate numbers to be falling instead of increasing...

unless of course the testing rate is failing because it's well behind the curve....contrary to all the gas floating out of the white house
