I'm so glad his staff now feeds him fake "internal polls" (which have always been a well-known joke, for campaigns of either party). He reportedly got enraged when his campaign manager showed him real polls. The more he's certain he's cruising to victory, the more he'll continue to pad Biden's lead.

Wait until the black and latino race wars at high schools with no school police there.

I'm sure the social workers will fix it all.

They are passing a bunch of laws. All it will do is make it easier to commit crimes and shit.
Hey, I am the first one to tell you the schools are making a big mistake taking the police out of schools.

From what I've read, theres so many different ways to treat this virus that I'm getting optimistic.
- T-cell treatments (to supplement T-Cells, which become weaker and more ineffective past age 65 [could be related to the sharp increase in death toll around that age])
- Steroids (to dampen cytokine storm)
- Antivirals (to attack the virus)
- Antibody treatments (to procure some sort of temporary immunity)
- Blood-thinners (to reduce blood clots)
- Improved oxygen support therapies
etc.

I wonder just how good of a treatment regimen will be able to be developed, and I'm curious about how good that regimen would have to be to revert back to a sense of normalcy.

local chlorinated public pool near our property has closed several different summers for contamination from people and it's heavily chlorinated...chlorine will disinfect your swimming trunks but as I said....many, many people use a pool without putting their heads in the water...I blame Californians
I always shower before I get into a pool. One time, my niece asked me to escort her son thru the locker room and past the showers to the swimming pool where she would meet us. I undressed and took a shower but my great nephew did not shower saying people don't shower before going swimming. I tried to explain to him that everyone needed to shower before entering the pool. Also, when I use to workout at PCC Sylvania campus, There was a guy how every morning took a shit and then without even washing his hands would put on his swim trunks and head for the pool. For these reasons I hate going to a public pool.

trump poisons everything he touches, part 3389; now, the CDC basically gives up and surrenders to Covid:

We’re not in the situation of New Zealand or Singapore or Korea where a new case is rapidly identified and all the contacts are traced and people are isolated who are sick and people who are exposed are quarantined and they can keep things under control,” she said in an interview with The Journal of the American Medical Association’s Dr. Howard Bauchner. “We have way too much virus across the country for that right now, so it’s very discouraging.”
*****************************

This is really the beginning,” Schuchat said of the U.S.’s recent surge in new cases. “I think there was a lot of wishful thinking around the country that, hey it’s summer. Everything’s going to be fine. We’re over this and we are not even beginning to be over this. There are a lot of worrisome factors about the last week or so.
******************************

The coronavirus has proven to be the kind of virus that Schuchat and her colleagues always feared would emerge, she said. She added that it spreads easily, no one appears to have immunity to it and it’s in fact “stealthier than we were expecting.”

“While you plan for it, you think about it, you have that human denial that it’s really going to happen on your watch, but it’s happening,” she said. “As much as we’ve studied [the 1918 flu pandemic], I think what we’re experiencing as a global community is really bad and it’s similar to that 1918 transformational experience
.”

“If you’re from a republican state I will punish you regardless of the cases there to make a divisive political statement. I am a fucking douche. I sent people with covid to nursing homes and killed a fuck ton of old people”

Yeah, that super red state California is definitely in his firing line. Nevada is a blue state too.

Do you actually check what's going on first, or go straight to your outrage machine?

Not just that but aside from the early grief that Cuomo got for his governing of his state, NY is one of the very few who seem to actually have a handle on this virus.

We're just testing too much. Stop the testing, watch the confirmed cases plummet.

Also, drink your daily bleach in the morning.

Of course the knowledge of confirmed cases increases with more testing. You’re literally contradicting yourself here. Aren’t you one of the ones on here pulling your hair out over the increased numbers? The fact that more cases are discovered with more testing shouldn’t even be debatable lol. It’s just basic, rudimentary logic.

Total world deaths: 507,000

Total deaths in the US: 126,000

From a mathematical POV don't these numbers kinda scream that something is off, either the rest of the world is counting things differently, or reporting differently, or something. There are quite a few countries who have handled it, similarly to the US, some worse, some better obviously, but for the US to be such a statistical outlier there's more than, "Trump" going on. I'm not defending how it's been handled, but you can't tell me in a statistics class they would look at this chart and keep the US's data, it would be disregarded as extremely out of the bounds of all the other data.

No, Trump. Just Trump. Trump created, spread and mutated this disease.

Either that, or the value of leadership is bigger than what you think in a country that values individualism as the US does. Other countries where the leadership actively worked against sound scientific methods (see Brazil) are also showing bad results.
