I wonder if gold is on the rise.

Yes. Unfortunately I bought something gold yesterday and had to pay a little more.

1700 last check? I sold most of mine around 1,300 about 6 months ago.

Gold 1529. It was around 1700 earlier this week

Prob fell with the fed stimulus

Having cash on hand is better than not having any. This isnt hard to comprehend.

There is no penalty with having cash. None.
I have had the same $100 in my wallet for over a week. I withdrew it last week before going out with friends but never needed it. This isn't hard to understand. On that note you are correct.

Same. I took out 60 bucks this week and it was the first withdrawal in a month.

Several days to a week more before mass testing in the U.S. begins. That is beyond unacceptable.

Trump would have to work his way up just to get to clusterfuck on this one.

I detest Trump’s presidency as much as anyone, but I see this stuff about the delayed availability of testing in about the same way as the cluster-mess of the Obamacare website roll-out. From what I’ve read, it seems the CDC developed it’s own virus test instead of using the one that other countries were using. One of the ingredients in the test kits didn’t work right and they had to start over. Trump has screwed up many things in his handling of this emergency, but I don’t see how he’s responsible for CDC’s screwup.

Well he certainly didn't help things when a bunch of people left because of his policies and he didn't replace them. Then of course he tried to defund it but Congress namely Pelosi stepped in and funded it. Trump has done very little to help. Lets just put it that way? Maybe he could have done a better job leading?

And who is ultimately responsible for the CDC? They are a division of Department of Health and Human Services, which is headed by Secretary of Health and Human Services, which is appointed by Trump. The blame HAS to go to the top.

And, who was ultimately responsible for the Obamacare roll-out? They had a year to plan for that and still screwed it up. CDC had roughly a month and a mistake was made. And how much whining about Obamacare did Republican do, and how much justifying did Dems do? Sure, executives get hammered for the mistakes of underlings, that’s part of the job. I don’t expect to change anyone’s opinions about this, but it would be nice if people could accept that mistakes happen. I’m much more inclined to blame Trump for his bragging, whining about the media and evil Dems, and stupid messaging on this whole thing than I am a CDC mistake.

at least if you live in San Francisco & Portland you can get Typhoid shots.

I'm not interested In whataboutisms. Also, maybe Trump shouldn't have fired the Pandemic Response Team. Just a thought.

When you gut the system designed to prepare for things like this, and put people who don't believe in science in charge of Departments that NEED a fundamental background in science, the blame can only go in one direction.
