He described the step as “really exciting news.”

Im not opposed to vaccinating teachers ahead of seniors but they should agree to get back into the classrooms this year, as, per the Gov, its the very basis and reason they are being vaccinated asap.

Well, I suspect Dr. Fauci just realized that while Joe is waaaaay better to work with than Trump, he has his own shortcomings. Obviously, there are things we can do to change the trajectory of the pandemic. I just read a piece this morning that said if they ramped up production on the N-95 masks and everyone wore one when they were in public, the pandemic would be over in two weeks.

We can, there is just a time delay between when we start acting responsibly and when we start seeing that take effect. All the people that are in ICUs, ventilators are not going to magically get better, because ICU capability is at 0% many others are are not going to get magically better if everyone starts acting responsibly, so what he said is 100% right. The next couple of months - you are going to see the cases, hospitalizations and deaths from the tail of the current infections.

My understanding is that there is usually a week or two for infections to become symptomatic - so if we go by cases, hospitalizations, ICUs and deaths - the trajectory is pretty much set in stone based on the situation on the ground for the next 1 - 2 months. You will not start seeing these change until after - which is I guess, what he was referring to.

She stated, if you seniors could just wait a couple weeks more, knowing that there will not be enough vaccine and the wait would likely be months.
Many teachers because of the new variant will not go back this year anyway.

I've voted for him thousands of times, illegally, of course. I've been responsible for Millions of illegal votes for him. I round up all the illegal Mexicans that I can, provide each one with thousands of disguises and then we take rented dilapidated buses from precinct to precinct where I get my dirty Democrat friends to take their marked ballots.
