This is so so bad. People (especially black people) are ripping it apart on Twitter as racist pandering, and rightfully so. When you make a children’s cartoon aimed at adults of a certain demographic, it’s not a far stretch to assume you think those people are stupid. I can’t believe someone thought this was a good idea.

This story has been ignored since March. I’m actually stunned WaPo is reporting on it. The mainstream media just spent an entire year propping up Cuomo as some sort of authority or voice of reason on Covid-19 when this information has been out there the entire time.

This shit is why I don’t watch television.
 
Two friends in CA just got their vaccine, they are 60 & 61 very healthy.
Since the Gov has made seniors wait, there has been many deaths of those under 80.
The teachers should go back to school as a thank you for the vaccine and respect to those seniors that allowed them to go first.

Yeah, there are bad cops that need to be purged, put to classify then all as murderers is ignorant! I have a brother in law and son that are cops and damn good ones. They'd save your ass when no one else would dude.
They are involved in their communities and help people from despair and crime all the time. They are disrespected by criminals that would rape their own daughters, beat the shit out of their own kids and wife ,and steal from you in a heart beat. So you can can criticize them all you, want but dont say, they are all killers.

listen. All cops are bad because the good ones wont turn in the bad ones.
But the same people that say this seem to think the same doesn't apply to rioters and protestors.
if a protestor witnesses crime from a rioter Nd doesn't turn them in, wouldn't they also be an acessory and held in the same standard?

i mean a wrong is a wrong and when another turns the other cheek that is wrong. No matter the crime, no matter the situation.

The study that the tweet references points out that a large number of people who couldn't pay their bills fully only missed by a small amount of money - and therefore the stimulus would in fact make up the difference.

Whether or not that is true is of course open to question - but your implication that the claim was that $1400 covered all of someone's expenses is false.
