It was much better than it is now. The reason not as much got done in Obama's last 4 years was because McConnel vowed that he would do anything within his power to keep Obama from getting anything passed. Chop off the head of the 2 headed snake in trump and McConnel and things would be better.

Doubt it, lots of people in the political stratosphere that hinder the other side from doing anything, and tribalism isn't going away any time soon. Bi-partisan is mostly considered treason on your party now. It's a strange world we're apart of.

Anyways maybe something like this is drastic enough to get people to put down the R D and I stickers who knows.

Part of governing during a crisis is what you did before the crisis. Trump has eroded key social structures and response departments that would have been very helpful during this crisis. Trump also pulled all the financial strings trying to keep the economy goosed so he could get reelected, now he has no where to go to keep things stabilized. His tax cuts will prove to be especially disastrous as we wasted the best economy of our lifetimes running up more deficit instead of paying it down.

Honestly I am not happy this crisis is happening, but if it had to happen I am glad it happened before the democrats retook office. I am getting some enjoyment of watching Trump lay in the bed he made rather than being able to stand on the sidelines and throw shit at the next administration.

Glad to see this pointed out. I spent 35 years in the wastewater treatment industry and ditched my wedding ring from the outset due to that very reason....along with the fact that I was around a lot of moving machinery. I didn’t resume wearing a ring until I retired.

I’ve yet to see one MSM outlet talk about fortifying your immune system with vitamins A, D and C, or recommending ANY other simple but effective tips for enhancing immune health. They are happy to drive the point home than anyone with a compromised immune system is probably going to die, though. The lack of responsible reporting in this country is criminal. There are so many simple, inexpensive ways to help fortify one’s immune system and safeguard against disease, even coronavirus.

If you are young and healthy and merely lack vitamins, sure. Lots of people have compromised immune systems that go way beyond vitamin deficiency.

Unless you’re deficient due to an unusually crappy diet, expecting that taking large doses of them is going to improve your immune system is bunk. Multi-billion dollar bunk, but still bunk.
