I was laughing at Steven Mnuchin who earlier today said (paraphrasing), "The American people need cash now...the President want them to have cash now and I will ensure that they get it ....in the next 2 weeks."

Unless you’re deficient due to an unusually crappy diet, expecting that taking large doses of them is going to improve your immune system is bunk. Multi-billion dollar bunk, but still bunk.
You’re referring to supplements, which I didn’t cite exclusively. A lot of supplements are bunk because they offer the vitamin in its most basic form without other ingredients that act as a means for absorption. They never even make it into your bodies vital systems where they’re most needed. You literally just shit them out with whatever other garbage you ate that day. There are good supplements out there though that contain nutrients which aid in absorption. The best way to get vitamins though is through natural foods that contain them, hands down. Your body already knows how to use fruits, vegetables, and proteins and get the most out of them. Nature figured that shit out a long time ago.

If everyone who was affected by coronavirus had adequate vitamin intake, hell even just vitamin A alone, there would be less deaths and more mild cases. Vitamin A fortifies cell walls and makes it much more difficult for viruses to penetrate, especially in complex tissues like lung tissue, where most corona virus fatalities occur through pneumonia. The elderly are notoriously vitamin A deficient, the reasons for which are not fully understood, but it is well documented. I think we all know the statistics concerning age-related coronavirus deaths.

And that’s not even mentioning other essential nutrients that increase T cell production and the production of other white blood cells which battle viruses and other antigens.
It matters big time.

Anddddddd someone that came into our office today had tested positive. Oh, now I can work from home? Thanks senior staff that worked from home today.

Trump now claims he always knew it would be a pandemic. Like when he said case load would be zero, it would miraculously disappear, it was a hoax, you could go to work.......

Also look up “open-air treatment” which was a treatment used during the Spanish flu epidemic. They more or less pulled people’s hospital beds outside during warmer months to allow them more sunlight and fresh air, and found it reduced deaths and the spread of infection pretty substantially. Sunlight=vitamin D. It’s why flu season isn’t in July.

While no one was paying attention, Barr dropped all charges against the two corrupt Russian companies for interfering in 2016 elections.

Amazon groceries has no open delivery windows. So don't try getting groceries from them. I just wasted time trying to place an order.

Was it sly?

Taiwan is 81 miles off the coast of mainland China and was expected to have the second highest number of cases of coronavirus disease 2019 (COVID-19) due to its proximity to and number of flights between China.1 The country has 23 million citizens of which 850 000 reside in and 404 000 work in China.2,3 In 2019, 2.71 million visitors from the mainland traveled to Taiwan.4 As such, Taiwan has been on constant alert and ready to act on epidemics arising from China ever since the severe acute respiratory syndrome (SARS) epidemic in 2003. Given the continual spread of COVID-19 around the world, understanding the action items that were implemented quickly in Taiwan and assessing the effectiveness of these actions in preventing a large-scale epidemic may be instructive for other countries..........

.......On December 31, 2019, when the World Health Organization was notified of pneumonia of unknown cause in Wuhan, China, Taiwanese officials began to board planes and assess passengers on direct flights from Wuhan for fever and pneumonia symptoms before passengers could deplane. As early as January 5, 2020, notification was expanded to include any individual who had traveled to Wuhan in the past 14 days and had a fever or symptoms of upper respiratory tract infection at the point of entry; suspected cases were screened for 26 viruses including SARS and Middle East respiratory syndrome (MERS). Passengers displaying symptoms of fever and coughing were quarantined at home and assessed whether medical attention at a hospital was necessary. On January 20, while sporadic cases were reported from China, the Taiwan Centers for Disease Control (CDC) officially activated the CECC for severe special infectious pneumonia under NHCC, with the minister of health and welfare as the designated commander. The CECC coordinated efforts by various ministries, including the ministries of transportation, economics, labor, and education and the Environmental Protection Administration, among others, in a comprehensive effort to counteract the emerging public health crisis........

......Taiwan’s government learned from its 2003 SARS experience and established a public health response mechanism for enabling rapid actions for the next crisis. Well-trained and experienced teams of officials were quick to recognize the crisis and activated emergency management structures to address the emerging outbreak.

In a crisis, governments often make difficult decisions under uncertainty and time constraints. These decisions must be both culturally appropriate and sensitive to the population. Through early recognition of the crisis, daily briefings to the public, and simple health messaging, the government was able to reassure the public by delivering timely, accurate, and transparent information regarding the evolving epidemic. Taiwan is an example of how a society can respond quickly to a crisis and protect the interests of its citizens.

Too bad US government didn't take this as seriously as Taiwan did.

Well if I lived next door to China I sure would, as well. Obviously, Taiwan learned from being their neighbor. Good on them.

WTF does that have to do with Trump dropping the ball?
