No, we've already covered that false claim in this thread. If you die of something unrelated to covid (e.g. a car crash) while infected with covid, your death is not counted as a covid death.

Pro-Trump counties now have far higher COVID death rates. Misinformation is to blame

Since May 2021, people living in counties that voted heavily for Donald Trump during the last presidential election have been nearly three times as likely to die from COVID-19 as those who live in areas that went for now-President Biden. That's according to a new analysis by NPR that examines how political polarization and misinformation are driving a significant share of the deaths in the pandemic.

NPR looked at deaths per 100,000 people in roughly 3,000 counties across the U.S. from May 2021, the point at which vaccinations widely became available. People living in counties that went 60% or higher for Trump in November 2020 had 2.7 times the death rates of those that went for Biden. Counties with an even higher share of the vote for Trump saw higher COVID-19 mortality rates.

In October, the reddest tenth of the country saw death rates that were six times higher than the bluest tenth, according to Charles Gaba, an independent health care analyst who's been tracking partisanship trends during the pandemic and helped to review NPR's methodology. Those numbers have dropped slightly in recent weeks, Gaba says: "It's back down to around 5.5 times higher."

The trend was robust, even when controlling for age, which is the primary demographic risk of COVID-19 mortality. The data also reveal a major contributing factor to the death rate difference: The higher the vote share for Trump, the lower the vaccination rate.

The analysis only looked at the geographic location of COVID-19 deaths. The exact political views of each person taken by the disease remains unknowable. But the strength of the association, combined with polling information about vaccination, strongly suggests that Republicans are being disproportionately affected.

What?

No

People who died of Covid, died of Covid.

People who died of other things, died of other things. The difference is Covid weakned them and they then died of other things. The Covid didn't kill them.

There is no hypocrisy here.

He didn't create the vaccine though as he insists. He was never in a lab in a lab coat figuring out the vaccine. The creation of the vaccine went into place while he was president sure after he fucked up and didn't close the borders down immediately after news of Covid in China hit. Then he fucked up the roll out of said vaccine.

In very very rare cases people can have allergic reactions and die from the vaccine.

For those who aren't allergic it actually strengthens the immune system.

So, if someone dies from the vaccine which again is exceedingly rare (far rarer than dying of Covid) then they die from the vaccine.

If and there is no evidence of such, the vaccine weakens someone and they die from something else, then they die from the other thing, not the vaccine.

how can covid weaken people but a covid vaccine doesnt? Dont all vaccines give a dose of the virus for the body to build antibodies, but the innitial vaccine injection is still a covid base that… would act like covid and weaken someone?

but there have been many many cases of adverse reactions to the vaccine, even if mild and short term.

Sure,

The mechanism of the vaccine tricks the body into thinking it's sick. It tricks the immune system into thinking it's being attacked. But, that is not really the case. The "attacker" is harmless. Our body reacts as though we are ill. We get aches or a fever and then the body realizes the threat is not real and it goes away.

Oh I realize that, but I think his administration pushed the logistics and a fast track to get it out, and I along with many other dems we're skeptical of the quick release. Just seem's the whole thing is political. I was chastised for wanting to shut down flights from China because Trump was for it, now my gut cancels flights from SA and its ok? So fucking political. And I dont think it would matter if it was Trump or not, if it was a republican everything they do is wrong from a democrats perspective and if it was a dem like now everything they do is wrong in Repub's eyes.
This is way Ive been an independent for so many years. But Ive always been to acknowledge progress or BS regardless of party.

I got my booster yesterday morning and it was a little sore when I woke up today....didn't last long...had no other issues.

There is no actual Covid virus in a Covid vaccine. The Covid vaccine introduces a harmless RNA or a viral protein (a protein from the outer cover of the virus, not the virus itself) into the body which guises as the covid virus and instructs our bodies to create memory cells to help the body quickly fight the actual virus should we get it.

Our bodies before the pandemic never were introduced to Covid. When our immune system is first introduced to a complex virus like Covid it takes weeks sometimes to create an immune system response to fight it. By then for many it is too late.

The vaccine helps our body both recognize and be able to fight the virus. The Covid virus attacks our cells quickly and duplicates, covering our cells in a spiky protein that camouflages itself against our immune systems so our body can't fight and kill it. The mRNA or protein shell the vaccines introduces creates a similar spiky protein, but also instructs the immune system to recognize it as a threat. So, if we should actually get Covid our body remembers it, starts an immune response immediately, and is able to fight it off quickly (the longer the virus is in your body, the more it duplicates, and the harder it is to fight it).

So, Covid weakens you because it is an actual virus. The people weakened to an extent that would cause them death from it, or weaken them enough to cause other illnesses to kill them are mostly those who are unvaccinated because to their bodies Covid is a deadly stranger that it cant see.

The vaccine meanwhile actually strengthens you. The symptoms you would feel for the most part is your body being tricked. Your not really sick, your body just thinks you are.

The flu vaccine has a protein from it's virus in it, not the actual virus. Other Vaccines like the chicken pox vaccine has a weaker form of the virus in it.
