I think you should try living without anything supplied by a big city and see how you like it. Also, you guys should give back those state taxes above the level you contributed and see how you like that.
Now tell me who the ass hole is.

LOL.

What do you think I get from a big city? Lung cancer? Liver cancer? Deafness? A bullet in the back from a crackhead? Death from an illegal alien drunk driver? Human feces on my shoe bottoms? Screamed at by homeless insane people unleashed when Brown cut mental healthcare?

Where do you think big city bozos get their meat, their vegetables, their fruits, their drinkable water, the lumber for their homes, their electricity, their gas, the small portion of their air that is not polluted, all the basic necessities for a comfortable and healthy life?

Portland is actually propped up by taxes from rural Oregon, and we get about a 30%return in value for what we "contribute"to the state.

Border security is all that stands between Americans and death.

Dr Messonier said although the threat of coronavirus in the US is currently slim, the infection's international spread abroad makes containment at the US border and within the nation increasingly difficult.

Time to completely lock America down and shut the doors until this WMD is neutralized worldwide, which will take years. I feel sorry for anyone who owns stock in travel or transit companies.

The silver lining is American companies are withdrawing their factories and employees from China, strengthening America's bottom line.

Gordon Chang praises US for acting 'very, very quickly' against coronavirus spread
By Charles Creitz | Fox News

China expert Gordon Chang joined "The Ingraham Angle" on Tuesday to react to criticism of the American government's response to the coronavirus epidemic.

Chang told host Laura Ingraham that despite some critics' claims, the United States acted appropriately and is taking the right steps to protect Americans from the virus.

He also admonished MSNBC analyst Andrew Weissmann, formerly Robert Mueller's top prosecutor in the Russia investigation, over comments Ingraham said could be summarized as "globalism is the answer."

CORONAVIRUS INFECTS US SOLDIER FOR FIRST TIME, MILITARY SAYS

"That is clearly lunacy," Chang said. "The reason we don't have more cases in the U.S. right now is because we did issue those travel advisories [and] we did put people into quarantine. We have these travel restrictions."

Chang said that the Chinese government has criticized the U.S. for taking those actions, but noted that Beijing is currently taking restrictive measures within its own country.

"If we didn't do this, we would be looking like Italy or South Korea, or God forbid, even worse right now," he said.

"These are measures that people don't like -- I understand that. The point is [that] an epidemic is an extraordinary circumstance. If you are going to control it, you've got to do it fast. China has a problem now because it let the virus spread for six weeks," he said. "The U.S. acted very, very quickly."

Earlier Tuesday, Fox News medical correspondent Dr. Marc Siegel caught up with Nebraska Medicine Executive Director of Emergency Management and Biopreparedness Shelly Schwedhelm Tuesday night in Omaha, where she oversees the department tasked with monitoring Americans infected with coronavirus.

Schwedhelm told "Tucker Carlson Tonight" that the patients are all in "stable" condition and are "doing very well."

"We're doing our best to get them whatever they need to be comfortable, and working through all the issues that they have ... with lost luggage and other things," she added.

Reactions: ABM
Just wanted to note that since reaching a high-water mark of 58,747 on February 17th, the official number of active cases has been on the decline every day for over a week now. Total active cases has now dropped below 50K for the first time since the diagnosis classification change on 2/12.
Active cases down almost 2000 day-over-day. Resolved-case fatality percentage has dropped from nearly 19% as of February 12th to approximately 8% just two weeks later. Despite the fearmongering, things are actually continuing to improve.

No, Trump did not color in this map with a black crayon. This is official CDC finding. I presume it's a major part of what we're being charged $2.5 Billion to come up with. This is what the management of our stable genius has been able to achieve as a result.

Buy some of these, cover your mouth when coughing, wash your hands frequently.

Asked if he was worried about the spread of novel coronavirus in the United States, President Trump said, “No, because we’re ready for it."

“It is what it is. We’re ready for it. We’re really prepared," the President continued. "We have, as I said, we have the greatest people in the world. We’re very ready for it. We hope it doesn’t spread. There’s a chance that it won’t spread, too. And there’s a chance that it will. It’s just a question of at what level. So far, we’ve done a great job. When you have 15 people — with this whole world coming into the United States — and the 15 people are either better or close to being better, that’s pretty good.”

Whew! There you have it. Despite this whole world coming into the United States there's a chance it won't spread and we have the greatest people in the world anyways.

Trump put VP Pence in charge due to his great record on health care in Indiana. Pence's bad policies led directly to an HIV epidemic in southern Indiana. He cut public health funds, eliminated testing facilities, got rid of people in charge of STD prevention, promoted abstinence only that prohibited information on condoms. When a desperate police chief asked him to reopen needle exchange he offered prayer. He falsely claimed needle exchange promotes illegal drug use. He finally agreed to a limited exchange program. At the same time he signed a bill increasing possession of syringe for use of illegal drug from misdemeanor to felony.

But it was a great epidemic. The very best epidemic. No one knows more about epidemics.

I suppose he did his best. Nonetheless, it's always better to have a fence at the top of the hill as opposed to a hospital at the bottom.

I didnt hear any of Trumps thing I was at the gym while it was going on. We had a very spirited discussion about this at work today.

No one was mad or yelling or anything like that but I think we all had a lot of questions. How big of a threat is this to the US? Seems like its mostly speculation at this point. Is the news selling this as more of a threat then it is really? I think we all agreed, that we thought they were but we’d also rather have talk about threats to us like this a lot than not at all.
It sounds like the situation in China is getting better, so thats good.

Interesting stuff. Weve had some suppliers unable to deliver to us for a few weeks now, but admittedly its more important that the people over there are safe and healthy then if they can get us harmonic drives and such.

The HIV epidemic in Indiana subsided following Medicare expansion under the Affordable Care Act.
