So I actually have spent quite a bit of time googling this, and I think it's very plausible they have found medications that are effective in a majority of cases. Obviously a cure hasn't been found, but I wouldn't call this, "bs", I'd call this may be premature because the biggest case study I've read about is 75 people. We'll see. I don't know.

All of them seem like scams designed to get investors. And before Trump and his minions start claiming credit for Chloroquine, let it be known that China has been evaluating its use to treat coronavirus for nearly two months now, with varying levels of improvement. South Korea actually recommended it to be used a treatment last month. Last week, France did a very small trial and saw clinical efficacy.

It's essentially a chemical synthetic version of quinine (discovered 4 centuries ago in South America) which is used to treat malaria, and was discovered in Europe pre WWII.

There is an excellent chance that something will be pushed through before the election that turns out to be either ineffective or have safety issues.

Saying a drug (that has not even been validated or tested in a trial) is FDA approved is freaking dangerous. Keeping your mouth shut and letting the experts talk is more useful than providing false hope. He did it (LIED AGAIN) only to try to help the markets and his approval rating. Nothing else.
