I'm super deep in the red right now, but I was super green like 4 months ago. It'll swing back, I'm not worried.

I had a stock drop 70% in the last 3 weeks after it did a reverse split. Only lose when you sell. I bought more to average down today.

The Trump/McConnell court decision blocking vaccine mandate is written in such a way that it can be used to eliminate any workplace safety laws. They wrote people can catch Covid anywhere, not just at work so OSHA law doesn't apply. There are no workplace hazards that don't also exist elsewhere. Noise? People are exposed to loud noise at concerts and sporting events. Air quality? People are exposed to bad air in cities. Pesticides? They are in neighbor's garden. Heavy lifting? Motor vehicle safety? All exist outside workplace.

This court is not conservative. They are not conserving anything. They are radical right wing activists using the court to implement far right Republican agenda of no civil rights, no voting rights, no workplace or environmental or consumer protection, no religious freedom for non Christians, with no regard for law or Constitution.

Just get them out of the hospitals and hospital waiting rooms. Don't allow unvaccinated people into hospitals. Send them to the unvaxxed facilities.

Patrick Allen told lawmakers in a hearing Thursday morning that the state may be capturing only one in every 10 cases because so many people are testing positive at home or have asymptomatic cases. For that reason, he said the agency is moving away from case counts as a primary metric in tracking the surge and will place more emphasis on hospitalizations and deaths. Infections have also outpaced the state’s ability to conduct investigations and contact tracing to the point they can’t effectively slow spread of the disease.

the wife and I don't want to work forever chasing something that may never pencil out. figured we'd get in while we can, and if we can upgrade later, awesome. if not, well, we have a home with 3 beds/3 full baths, several great restaurants within 5-10 minutes of us, 20 minutes away from great snorkeling spots and chill beaches and oceanfront places. that ain't so bad, even if it's not the north shore (but the NS would be dope, FAMS!).

I honestly believe this is how it should be done now. I'd say in the last 2 months I personally know or work with 30 people who have tested positive, and only ONE had symptoms during. Shit my daughter got a false positive and I lost a lot of money not being able to go into work because of it. Easily one months mortgage and car payment.

It’s amazing you’re still pushing this insanity even after it’s become abundantly clear the vaccinated still contract and spread the disease as well. I have a strong inkling the hatred toward the unvaccinated is more of a hatred toward people of a certain political leaning than it is a legitimate public health concern.

Honest question to you, has anybody in here EVER said that they DIDN'T? People against getting vaccinated continue to say this. You also see in tweets somebody say that somebody tested positive for COIVD even thought they are fully vaccinated and have had a booster shot.

If someone is fully vaccinated and boostered.....get's the virus and DOESN"T end up in a hospital on a ventilator or dead.....IT WORKED! It did what it's supposed to.

And where does the part where unvaccinated people should ‘be treated in warehouses or tents’ come into play? Where is the science behind that? Not letting people into hospitals??? That was the suggestion I was responding to.
