Starting Monday masks are optional in the PIL. My daughter told me she'll keep wearing hers though the end of the school year. Said majority of her friends will as well.

My kids have been playing without masks throughout. Vaxxed and boosted as soon as they were elligable.

None of us has caught it, but we're careful everywhere else.

Same as my family. We wear masks where we are supposed to and thats about it. Christmas was our only exception. With big gatherings and me being with the team and getting tested everyday for 3 months we didn’t want to take a chance.

Walked through the lobby of our hotel here in the ATL today for the first time with no mask in 2 years...... felt surreal.

Went to the grocery store and saw like 70% of people not wearing masks.

I'll keep wearing masks in things like grocery stores for awhile.

For the near future, I'll wear one to the doctor's office or the pharmacy.

Full disclosure: Me and Mrs SPD went up to Fred Meyers in Vancouver and got a 2nd booster 10 days before we went to Mexico. We had the Pfizer vaccines and boosters but we made sure we got the Moderna booster in Vancouver.
We did not want to get sick with Covid in Mexico since we had such an ambitious adventure planned and because you had to test negative to come back to the USA. Couldn't really do anything about testing positive but if we did, and had to stay an extra 5-10 days in Mexico, we didn't want to be feeling miserable.

Oregon doesn't share pharmacy records with Washington so we just said we needed a booster.
