So, it was a novel virus that we knew nothing about. So in the beginning everything was made up, based solely on what we knew about typical communicable illnesses.

But as we have posted before, the preventive policies that we enacted more than likely saved around a million lives in the US alone.

Yes, some of those early suggestions were unnecessary. And as we learn that we stopped encouraging them.

Not by the epidemiologists who were giving the actual advice.

They were asking for patience and explaining that we don't actually know what will be effective and that these were standard practices for novel communicable illnesses. They explained that we would know more soon and encouraged us to protect ourselves the best ways we knew how.

That's who I was listening to, so I was never under any illusions like you appear to be.

There is no source so it cannot be used for any evidence relevant to the conversation, therefore it is not data. It's just a drawing.

Framing a discussion as a competition and determining that the person requesting sources as the loser of the non-existent competition is an insult.

Once again, it's interesting that the people with your position would go to those lengths rather than supplying the requested data.

You literally dismissed a legitimate graph as a “picture” lol. Why would anyone waste their time providing data to someone willing to be that obtuse?
Most here would claw their own eyes out before they dared to absorb data that went against their narrative. It’s a fruitless endeavor.

How do I know that that's a legitimate graph? Without a source it's just a drawing.

Your willingness to accept pictures as evidence without verifying their validity (and penchant for insisting that others do as well) says a lot about how serious people should take your posts.
