I disagree, the context was taking a stand against stupidity, so it was on point. Nurses resisting the protest because they know full well what it will mean if the infections spike because of the thoughtless protest. It is those nurses who will be more at risk because of the lunacy
 
Trump was seeing an approval rating increase a week or two ago. And now his approval ratings are dropping back towards his historical norms (between 40-43% approval).

Trump's approval ratings, aside from a rare spike up or down here or there, are nearly as consistent as an atomic clock. Nothing really causes it to go significantly up or down from that established rate for very long.

As much as I enjoy checking them out, they don't really mean squat. They're kind of like ESPN's weekly NBA Power Rankings, etc.

Actually, they did nominate someone:

His nomination sailed through the Senate Foreign Relations Committee in April 2019, and all he needed for confirmation was for McConnell to slot Senate floor time for a vote.

But while McConnell has successfully confirmed hundreds of judges and other administration officials for Trump, including many who faced much stiffer resistance from Democrats, he never bothered giving Giroir a vote.

Giroir is one of the guys who has been at the podium for the daily Trump show; he's also the guy we found out today that was fired by Texas A&M for being a self-promoter and not a team player.
