I think it’s pretty clear by now that the WHO doesn’t know shit. They’ve basically fucked up every prediction, model, timeline, suggestion and every other piece of data that they’ve produced so far.

I use to have horrible allergies in my mid 20's and then finally went to a specialist and got the injections to build up my immunity. Once completed I only have an occassional flare up but nothing like what I was suffering as it would lay me out for a day before that.

Yeah, I think that’s about when the story broke. I think this is just a case of the popular press finally paying attention. Still, when it’s Oxford, I tend to give it more credence than most. And they do point out that’s a best case scenario. Man, I’m rooting for best case.

I don’t think it’s that. I think the biochem companies are actually trying to become the first with the vaccine. Multiple Billions are at stake.

at a time when we pass 1 million cases and a lowball estimate of 60,000 deaths....trump; barr and the doj; conservative media; and some R governors are doing everything they can to undermine stay at home and social distancing guidelines enacted by states. Doing everything they can to 'violate' the advise of just about every expert on health policy. They are making a giant bet on trying to get the orange asshole re-elected, and the chips they are going all-in with are the lives of American workers and their families. The right-wing idiot governors of Iowa and Nebraska are now ordering people back to work and insisting they will take away unemployment benefits from any worker who doesn't show up....and it doesn't fucking matter how many children or how many elderly family members are put at risk in the homes of those workers. It's reprehensible.

Ohio has a rule against mass gatherings of over 100 people and DeWine has been fairly responsible so far. It would be great if he would not allow a rally in his state, but that's too much to ask for an R governor I imagine
