That was the pandemic Obama’s Administration had, Corona is the Trump Pandemic. That’s the truth of the contrast.

As for the second part. I said is that the best you could come up with? As in, you had to go back to previous statements. I asked what was “lies” that you claimed she said during this press briefing. Sad!

I didn't watch her first press briefing, so I don't know what she said.

I don't expect her to suddenly start telling the truth now that she's directly employed by Trump, but we'll see.

"We will not see diseases like the coronavirus come here"

Did the coronavirus come to America, or not?

It did, but that was a weak argument. Very sad really. When it comes to a sad response, it was the most terrible of terrible responses. :)

And? Did I say the Swine Flu was deadlier? I’m reading back and said no such thing.

I was comparing that both Administrations dealt with pandemics. Glad you admit the Trump Administration has a much scarier, more deadly and required way more focus than the “soft ball swine flu.”
And yet the Trump administration
has failed to handle the Covid19 virus. The U.S. with 5% of the world's population has 25% of the Covid19 deaths. We have a lower testing rate than the successful countries like China, S. Korea, Canada and a host of European countries. We're headed for over 100 thousand deaths with no end in sight.
Do you remember when the Trump administration was telling us that this was no big deal?
12,000 deaths from the Swine flu in 2009-2010. We've just scratched the surface of deaths from Covid19 in what, the last month?

USA has done more “tests per million” than South Korea.

Nope. In South Korea anyone who wants a test can get one for free anytime. They have drive thru testing all over the country. I have a sister-in-law over there who's been tested many times. Her only risk factor is her age.
I have 8 risk factors including my age and they refuse to test me. I'm in the hospital a minimum of three times a week. Counting tomorrow I will have been in the hospital four times seeing a doctor. Never been allowed a Covid19 test.

no? Hmmm, let’s see the data please....

None of that really contradicts what he said though.

Who knows if thats right but thats what most people seem to be using.

And yet we have vastly more "deaths per million" than South Korea. It's almost like we did it all wrong.

We sure did. New York, New Jersey and California Governors were sending infected Senior Citizens to Senior Centers. That’s always gonna boost the death rate.

New York (and the NE) has been hit rediculously hard the rest of the country the numbers are much more in-line with the rest of the world.

If the governors wouldn’t of sent their infected seniors to senior centers, things would of been different.

That was a mistake, but not at all the primary mistake. Getting released from the hospital is definitely a lagging indicator of infection.

Not a big mistake? The mortality rate is highest with seniors. New York, for example, had 43% of their deaths from senior citizens. That seems like a big fucking mistake.

I said it wasn't the primary mistake. At the point seniors were being released from the hospital, there were already hundreds of thousands of infections.

How many of the 60,000+ dead do you think were caused by hospital releases of covid-positive people to nursing homes?

Would love to know who in here is ok with these guys with their guns and masks and scary outfits walking around public offices. Anyone? Who thinks this is acceptable?

Let’s see. 43% of New York’s death rate... I would say probably 10k+? I’ll look for the data for the other states.

So your theory is that every senior who died from covid caught it in a nursing home from another senior that had been released from the hospital?

That seems.... like bullshit.

Bullshit? Weird, so why is the death rate so much lower in Florida, with more seniors and only 1 million less population? Oh yeah, that’s right. The fucking Governor wasn’t a complete idiot and focused his resources to protect the ones most affected by the virus!

Kind of apples to oranges when you think of the density of NYC.

Nope not at all. Seniors to seniors. Seems very apples to apples to me. Population density could have more infected, but sending “seniors” back to senior centers, that’s a densely populated high risk group of people. That was a big fucking mistake.

Seniors to seniors when one city is nothing but hi-rises isnt apples to apples.

It is when you are sending sick into a heavily compacted senior center. These senior centers aren’t in high rises.

Which brings us back to, what % of deaths came from seniors released back to senior centers.
