That's the number of deaths in senior centers, not the number that resulted from hospital releases of patients to senior centers.

Should be obvious, but people in nursing homes also got infected from staff and visitors (visitors have been banned most places now).

USA has done more “tests per million” than South Korea.

maybe that has something to do with this:

* Covid death rate in US is 199/million

* Covid death rate in S.Korea is 5/million

that's 199 vs 5. The US death rate is 40 times higher than S.Korea. That should mean the US should be testing at least 40 times the rate of S'Korea, but it's only 1.67 times higher.

If that indeed becomes true, say goodbye to sports forever. Unless, they decide to have all leagues happen in the spring/summer time, with shortened seasons or they, like everyone in general just say fuck it and go back to living their lives with the virus out there knowing that one day it could kill them.

All I've heard is if there isn't College Football this season it will cripple colleges. Maybe those two aren't exactly comparable but no business can withstand losing that much money for two straight years.
