So with hat, I can only assume you are happy and content with so many people here not able to have a real discussion on a discussion board?

You check the IP's. How many people you have logging on daily compared to years past? Would have anything to do with this continual echo change in here would it? The one that you seem to support?

I'm just asking, cause I know you have to deal with all the issues.

Please meditate on what the word "not" means!

If you think I am upset then you have no idea what my demeanor is as I am laughing at your posts. I'm not pissed, I'm not upset and if you don't want to repeat the question then it's rather obvious that the answer was never really important to you and was only a tool for you to make a big issue out of nothing. I am done. Continue with your whining to spd as I am done.

not hard at all. i do it all the time for our game threads, and i am no tech genius. they are far more enjoyable without trolls.

Most people seem to be able to have reasonable discussions here. If you're the only one who feels he can't, you might have to look at yourself. I've told friends of mine this before, but when the problem always seems to involve you and the other person keeps changing, there may be something about yourself that you need to address.

Squashing trolls is fun though. It's funny when they come in and they think they are being sly...no pun intended, and you see right through them and pounce.

Hmm. Confusion.

I cant answer that because in my opinion it should depend on the region or locality being discussed as moving on. My point was that ( and I know I didn't make this part clear, but have yet been asked to until now) some are saying

we should remain in complete locked down as a country. I'm disagreeing. But to go into details of that disagreement would need to go into specifics of specifics, because I don't think there is one universal step for all to take that is safe for all.

i often cannot watch the games here so i will usually combine the yahoo game stats stream and play by play with our own posters for commentary. its like i get the fans and the color commentator all in one in the game threads. death to the trolls.

I'm not sure you know how the internet works then. Caps means yelling. Cussing means mad or pissed(that one is a bit gray)

But its pretty universal that caps means yelling.

I like your report comment though.
Any mod care to explain to cup how often I hit the report button and set him straight?

Reports should be open to the public, so we can see who thinks who is causing issues and who is just a sensitive snoflake.

I think it would do well for all of us to be as clear as possible so there is little room to make assumptions. I have made assumptions myself that turned out wrong. It seems all of us have at some point. So lets be as crystal clear as we can...then maybe we won't have pages of back and forth that goes no where and instead have something that resembles conversation.

Considering no part of this country has been in complete lockdown for even a day, I sincerely doubt anyone has advocated doing that now.

Okay, but the other couple of people don't keep changing. Are you not aware and seeing this? Or just allowing one person's behavior and condemning another's?

Do you know how many people only converse in DM and or have just quit this place because of what you are saying is not other peoples issues but mine? The same people that talk to me in private?

The issue seems to be me, because i'm not willing to just walk away like so many others and allow this place to be a unified clone of discussion.

But if that's what you mods prefer... a few people all happily sucking each others willy and chasing off anyone who doesn't share their opinions on everything, you are on the right track to attaining that goal, by defending this behavior here.

100% agree. but we are all human. I think the counter to that is to not just assume and ask for clarification rather than just condemning and ridiculing. Which is a fad around here.
 
We have to be extremely careful about reopening the country. I agree it should depend on location, but no state should hurry it. We did our stay at home order to flatten the curve and keep hospitals from becoming overwhelmed. We slowed it down a bit, but the virus is still out there. Some states are reopening too quickly and the numbers are jumping like frogs on a hot sidewalk. We need to reopen slowly, go strictly by the guidelines and be prepared to take a step back if necessary.

We need to slowly open the country while watching the numbers closely, studying how, not if, the virus spreads once we do, because it will spread. Until a vaccine arrives, we have to figure out how we can live our lives as normally as possible while as safe as possible. The herd mentality of let people die is reckless.

If you want to play semantics, then do it.

Bottom line: We need to move slowly since there's no vaccine. To open up too quickly would overwhelm us AGAIN. Think people will be as patient the 2nd time?

Be objective. Think outside of what you need and want. Does a world of wonders.

We go slowly. There is no other option. Not staying in lockdown, not opening up too fast. Slowly.

You do realize we actually have vastly different discussions here, right? Vastly different beliefs? Opinions? Stop playing the victim, just state your opinions and understand people are gonna see it differently.
