You’re the one who replied to my original comment. Get a shot or don’t get a shot, I really don’t give a shit. It should be your choice and not someone else’s. I never said or even suggested any of the nonsense you rattled off about above either. I’m not injecting a hastily developed substance into my body in response to mass hysteria. I don’t want to and I shouldn’t have to. We’ve taken certain other vaccines that we feel the benefits outweigh the risks and opted out of certain others. My body my choice FAMS.

Fine, but don't endanger me or my family. Stay in your house and don't go out in the public. After all, shouldn't the same reasoning apply that applies to those who want to smoke in public and subject me to their second hand smoke? They don't allow smoking in a lot of public spaces such as indoors. Even the Blazers quit allowing people to smoke in designated areas on their property.

Yea it ain’t gonna work like that. They gonna put a stamp on my forehead if I don’t take it? Lock me in my house? The alarmist crap is out of hand. Besides I’ve probably already had the shit and didn’t know it. Everyone I know was sick between Dec/Jan/Feb.

Is 190,000 dead Americans being alarmist?
For me, an infection is likely to kill me so I'm very careful to avoid careless people who might endanger my life. This limits what I would like to do in public.

Wouldn’t I supposedly be the one at risk if I didn’t take it? And you would have some sort of immunity If you did? Isn’t that how it’s supposed to work? The re-infection rate is also extremely low.

Yes, if you ran into another carefree fool who didn't wear a mask you would be endangered. I, however, wear a mask to protect you and others from getting infected by me which is the main purpose of a mask.

We were. Did you get lost?
Vaccinations mean that you would not need to wear a mask to protect the other person unless you wanted to put them at ease as a courtesy because how would they know you were vaccinated.
Also, it means that you could talk to fools who weren't vaccinated and who had no mask without the chance of getting infected with that virus.
It's a win-win for the vaccinated person.

I don't have the vaccine. There is no vaccine at this time. When they get one I will not worry about me but I will worry about those who for one reason or another don't or are unable to get the vaccine. Hey, maybe my dialysis will filter out the vaccine before it takes effect. We know little to nothing about any prospective vaccines.

Right. Seems to me this whole convo started by me saying when there IS a vaccine, I’m going to go ahead and opt out. Then you said stay home and don’t endanger my family. Then you said if there was one you’d be protected from my sick ass (paraphrasing). So I’m still confused as to what you actually think.

I'm saying what I said although I'm going to add the mask part which I believe you have said many times that you do not wear, if you get the vaccine or wear a mask then fine go out in public, if you refuse to get the vaccine and still refuse to wear a mask don't go out in public around me. The sick ass part is false since I would never say that about you or anyone else in here. I reserve that language for public figures that I don't like or my ass hole neighbor when I lived in my last home. No, even if it weren't against the rules I would never insult you.
