Accountable generally means responsible:

1. (of a person, organization, or institution) required or expected to justify actions or decisions; responsible.

He didn't literally kill a bunch of people, but he worsened the effects of the pandemic by downplaying the virus and the most reasonable remedies, leading lots of his supporters to also ignore safeguards. Worsening the effects means more people sick than otherwise and more people dead than otherwise. Reasonable minds can place how many extra people died at different amounts, but I think it's pretty hard to argue against the idea that Trump's handling of the pandemic has resulted in more people dead than had to die--I'd call him responsible for those extra deaths.

I suspect that the creation of a Trump Party may occur before 2024.

Oh, I want this so bad. This would be such an amazing turn of events. Hopefully a Trump party candidate runs for every house and senate seat as well.
