Why Covid can play havoc with men's love lives: Men who get infected have 'THREE TIMES the risk of developing erectile dysfunction'
  • University of Rome doctors examined the change in fertility of 100 men
  • 28% of those who had Covid said they were suffering with erectile difficulties
  • In comparison only nine per cent who had not had Covid experienced problems

The positivity rate will drop! You know, the one where they reduced testing by 80% (made mass testing sites into mass vaccination sites) and changed what constitutes a positive test on January 20th?

Trust the Science!
:Sly:

Since Dec - Israel has been able to vaccinate about 50% of the population - and it's current death rate is 20% of what it was in December - this stupid sign uses statistics to ignore the important stuff for cheap political gain. Shame.

Statistics are worthless if you are looking at the wrong data points...

FWIW - The USA is now at 35% the death rate of December - thanks to both Vaccines and an administration that does not take the issue lightly and promotes mask use and social distancing.

Maybe now those Republican men will get vaccinated.
I know alot of dem young people Men & Women who are reluctant to get vaccinated, which is crazy. But When I was there age the government was pushing hard on this I may have rejected it too. I get my second tomorrow.

Its crazy much of the world is locking down again, but here in the US, everything is opening up.

At least here in California, I suspect the opening up is in response to the Governor about to be recalled so he's playing political chess with our lives.

Pfizer Covid vaccine 'is 100% effective against South African variant, beats Brazilian strain' AND works for at least six months - while lower antibody levels seen in lab tests do NOT affect jab's real-world protection
  • Pfizer Inc and BioNTech said ongoing study of their COVID-19 vaccine shows it is around 91% effective at preventing the disease after six months
  • The shot is also 100% effective in preventing illness in trial participants in South Africa - but the company admits the study group was small, with 800 people
  • The new 91% efficacy is lower than the 95% originally reported in November after a 44,000-person trial
  • The updated results includes data on more than 12,000 people fully inoculated after six months
  • Pfizer says the results positions it to submit for full US approval with the FDA

I got my first dose of the Pfizer vaccine 2 days ago, second dose later in April. Our state is opening up vaccines to everyone on April 5th but there have been a lot of open spots recently the day of for anyone to fill, so was able to find one the other morning.

Can you explain what this means exactly?

"It was 91.3 percent effective at preventing symptomatic infection"
