Wouldn't put it past them. They were never going to reach their vaccine targets. Biden's failure to distribute the vaccine.

Yes, it was a complete failure that we had more vaccines that were needed instead of enough vaccines that were wanted.

The "prizes" and free beers to get vaccinated wasn't a good look. Very try-hard.

Many of the states that offered prizes did see a jump in vaccinations because of them.

And free beer was a nice promotion for Budwiser.

Or laws.

See seat belts for example.

So you are in favor of forced vaccinations?

Or just stripping one's liberties if they chose not to get a vaccine that is still under emergency authorization use only?

The vaccine has been distributed just fine... There was plenty vaccine in plenty of time.

And I'm not a Biden fan.

Well, its a failure in % of the population that is vaccinated, especially in Black and Latino communities (although Latino ones have done a little better). Newest outbreaks are in these communities in LA right now though.

For sure, assholes have convinced idiots not to get vaccinated. That has nothing to do with distribution.

Anybody in those areas can go get vaccinated tomorrow if they want.

Its a failure in educating the public, then. Or at least those that aren't getting vaccinated.

google trump and anti-vaccine. There’s a lot there as well. And read up on how heavily he was planning to politicize it to re-up his presidency, if the vaccine had come another month or so sooner….

Sure, there are a lot of Trumpers who are vocally anti-vaccine. How has Trump scared people from a Vaccine which he pushed hard for, despite the skepticism and criticism from his enemies?

https://www.nytimes.com/2020/03/09/health/trump-vaccines.html

President Trump has been promising the imminent arrival of a vaccine to halt the spread of the coronavirus, the novel germ that has sickened more than 100,000 people worldwide, killed more than 3,400 and is now spreading in the United States.

Federal health officials have repeatedly pointed out that his timetable is off — that it will take at least a year — but his single-minded focus on warp-speed production of a new vaccine represents a striking philosophical shift. For years, Mr. Trump was an extreme vaccine skeptic who not only blamed childhood immunizations for autism — a position that scientists have forcefully repudiated — but once boasted he had never had a flu shot.

Despite not making overt anti-vaccination statements as president, Trump had published dozens of tweets linking vaccinations with autism in the past, such as one in 2014 that read: “Healthy young child goes to doctor, gets pumped with massive shot of many vaccines, doesn’t feel good and changes – AUTISM. Many such cases!” Research has found that Americans who voted for Trump in 2016 were particularly prone to anti-vaccination attitudes and that these attitudes were exacerbated by his tweets.

"Frankly, we're lucky we have the vaccine, but the vaccine on very young people is something that you gotta really stop" -- Trump, pushing anti-vax talking points on Hannity

Like everything else Trump has done, he has create a bunch of confusion for uneducated idiots so they’re afraid to make any sort of researched or informed opinion. That’s more than enough.

Conservatives/the right have long-been anti-vaccine types.

All of that was from 2014, you're digging here (7 years in the past)

It kind of depends on the criteria, land size or people count. Then it depends on who they actually count and which suburbs fit. You can make a case for most of the top 5 to be the biggest, one way or another
Only population makes sense. The other stats are for curiosity.
