man you are something else….i wear a mask everywhere accept at home with my wife.

People can voice concerns but still follow protocol 100%. Doesn't mean their lives should be ended. I mean wtf man……
try talking to people in healthcare. they're beyond the point of caring. the closest thing to cure is readily available, but they want to jam roads in a fake display of patriotism, while nurses and doctors can't get to work? fuck em.

Thanks. Head cold. Slight body aches. Basically feels like a summer cold. Tongue feels numb but can still tase foods just not as good.
Waiting for father at kaiser now.
Wife just got tested but no symptoms so no rapid testing but still has to quarantine.

Ordering some of that horse tranq stuff nOw to cure us all.

Feel better man

and that leads to some people saying fuck you.

to hate people so much you want them dead because they question things is just…

but you want them dead out of humanitarian reasons right??

i hope one day you see the contradiction there

it was a tongue in cheek comment to indicate my irritation. i wasn't actually going to run them over. do you not understand hyperbole?

you have to be joking. please tell me you're joking.

These people are resisting taking a vaccine that had been tested on over 100k people in heavily vetted clinical trials, but want to take horse meds. Natural selection will inevitably take care of this in the near future, but they obviously don't believe in it.

He just wants it for display purposes

I got it before the vaccines were out or available to me. It was a "hail mary" type of thing, nothing I'm going to take, just to have on hand if shit hits the fan and there the ERs were full. i think i ordered it in winter when LA was absolutely fucked with COVID.

my stance is we dont need any hyperbole now. People need to be as straight up as possible.
Also considering all the tings ive read from you in the past i considered this jsut as serious as past posts.

i wouldnt think this is something to be all tongue and cheek about. Did you ever stop to think that hyperbole, when put publicly, is something that may hinder people from listening to you when you are spot on about something?

Id say take a step back and see how words affect things and people before spatting out a bunch of hyperbole.
Also when you flow it up with I'm past the point of carrying but then come back after and day its tongue and cheek, thats also is suspect.
All im saying is spreading hatred, hyperbole or not is not helping a damned thing.
So before one lets anger take over step back and think whether the anger unleashed in such words helps anything at all?

you could be leading this forum in a very positive way with all of your knowledge and expertise, but instead often take a backseat because of the anger surrounding the knowledge.

gee, thanks for yet another lecture on how to post again. I'll be sure to consider your opinion on how people perceive my posts on hitting people with my car.

Why have you not put me on ignore? I keep asking you to do it once a week. Please do.

I have the version for humans.
had no idea that was a thing.

OK serious question for people who got this stuff? Do they really feel like taking medical advice from Joe Rogan is better than the millions of professionals that have studied for decades ?

I am doubtful to take it. Like I said, its was basically a "last resort" kind of thing in case of inability to get to see a doctor if shit hits the fan, particularly at a time last winter where:

1. Hospitals in LA were overwhelmed by a significant amount
2. There was no vaccine available

Like I would have to personally feel like I would be on the brink of death before taking it. I had friends at that time in the hospital intubated, etc.

At the time, much of Latin America was using it. https://www.nature.com/articles/d41586-020-02958-2

RE: Livestock vs Human formulations.

https://www.fda.gov/consumers/consu...-not-use-ivermectin-treat-or-prevent-covid-19

There seems to be a growing interest in a drug called ivermectin for the prevention or treatment of COVID-19 in humans. Certain animal formulations of ivermectin such as pour-on, injectable, paste, and "drench," are approved in the U.S. to treat or prevent parasites in animals.

For humans, ivermectin tablets are approved at very specific doses to treat some parasitic worms, and there are topical (on the skin) formulations for head lice and skin conditions like rosacea.

However, the FDA has received multiple reports of patients who have required medical attention, including hospitalization, after self-medicating with ivermectin intended for livestock.

Please don't take it. There are better treatments for COVID even if you're not able to find space in a hospital. Hell, home remedies for boosting immunity or basic flu meds would more than suffice.

It was a last resort kind of thing. If I get a serious case, I may or may take it, after doing some due diligence. Again, its doubtful, but its nice knowing to have a hail mary there if I need it.

I've already been doing ZINC + D3 doses + Vitamin C as a preventative measure.

i do a black tea with turmeric/ginger/cloves. tastes good, opens sinuses, and inherently increases immunity.

Yeah, when it first started I was taking Elderberry supplements as Zinc and other vitamins were all out of stock.

im fully vaxxed. Have been for months.

Likely stemmed the symptoms but being vaxxinated didnt stop me from getting it and i doubt it stopped me from spreading it.

But go ahead and end peoples live with your car that dont fall inline 100% and question things with free think.
The vaccines will likely not STOP anybody from getting it. We'll all get it. The vaccines will certainly stop millions from needing hospitalization. And it does limit the number of people you can spread it to, as only somewhere around 10-15% of positive tests are among vaccinated people.

If test positivity rates dropped 85-90% we'd be able to live life like normal.

No question, the more people who get vaccinated the better off we'll all be.

I sincerely hope you and your family get well soon.

Even now, if everyone worldwide got vaccinated today, the virus would die out and billions of people would not ever get it. Vaccines could stop the virus, but it takes a very large % of the population vaccinated for that, since it is so contagious. The Typhoid Marys among us are what's keeping the disease around.

Thanks. Yeah my drummer, who i hooked up with last Tuesday, has already been tested this morning and got a negative result. He is fully vaxxed.
We think my father will come up positive and my wife is a crapshoot, but results arent in yet.
