Fuck religious exemption. You don't get a pass just because you like to believe in fairytales.
A Republican Senate candidate in Oklahoma who is also a preacher has downloadable religious exemptions on his website and promises to sign for anyone. Funny, did Jesus say anything about that?
He also calls Biden "the former vice president" since Trump is actually still president.
All that feed the hungry and love thy neighbor stuff is for wimps

As I work as a risk manager/advisor to doctors and CEO's of small healthcare companies, the religious exemption used to be pretty rigid and hard to prove. Under the Biden administration, it basically has no rules. If you want a religious exemption, you get one.

And just exactly how does a person "prove" they are religious anyway? It's like proving you're gay or agnostic...choices...why would there ever be "rigid" rules concerning personal health choices people make? They can certainly smoke tobacco. Do you also do risk mangement for priests, rabbis, shamans, mullahs, satanists and monks? Seems to me state leaders are operating on different rules and Joe has to confront Texas public safety rules in court as it stands...the states are not "united" currently concerning public health..pretty simple...opting out of getting vaccinated is going to limit anyone's access to travel and public contact anywhere in the world....not just America...choices..

It used to be that to obtain a religious exemption, some of the requirements were:

* The 'church' or religious entity had to be registered as such and well established
* The entity had to have within it's constitution or by-laws language germain to whatever the religious exemption that was being requested was so stated
* The person requesting the exemption was a member in good standing of that entity and not joining just to obtain the exemption
* and so forth

The current 'rules' are very loose and are granted pretty much just by claiming the exemption. I mean, there's a little more to it but not much. Think of it when Oregonians only could get weed for medical reasons. All one had to do was ask and it was granted. Pretty similar.

so essentially the only thing that changes is that one law requires an organization that backs you up and currently you can do it on your own and not be involved in any organized religion with multiple members.....freedom to me says you can identify with any faith you choose and the burden of proof would be on the people questioning your faith...unlike bone spurs, there's no physical evidence that you're a practicing buddhist or better yet a Taoist who does not associate with organized religious dogma at all...

Do you have a link to an article that says the Biden administration reduced the religious exemption? All I'm seeing is that more people are claiming a religious exemption since the Biden admin made vaccines mandatory for gubermint emps and businesses with over 100 employees.

I do see mention of this: "The allowance was enshrined in the federal Civil Rights Act of 1964, which says employers must make reasonable accommodations for employees who object to work requirements because of “sincerely held” religious beliefs." and I know that Biden is old but I don't think he had anything to do with it.

This is so maddening and depressing. We don’t need to look to redneck states for the results of vaccine resistance to be destroying the health care system and leaving people with other conditions without needed access to care. It’s here in Oregon:

Are you doubting science now and using "I saw it on the internet"?
