Hard to say. DeSantis said the COVID tests were available, just not ordered. Is that because the SG pooh-poohed getting tested? Dunno.

At a Thursday news conference, Kevin Guthrie, the director of Florida's Division of Emergency Management, told reporters when asked about the state's stockpile: "We had between 800,000 and a million test kits, Abbott rapid test kits, in our warehouse that did expire."

Taiwan today has 4 cases of covid...their health dept says that masks and border quarantines of one week upon arrival have kept it that safe.....anybody who says masks don't work is full of shit
They have 100% compliance in public mask wearing....it worked for SARS and it's working for combating Covid as well. Also strict control on travel quarantines have kept their cases that low....23 million people....4 covid cases

So have blue haired retired New Yorkers .....Florida like Arizona is a retirement destination for people from the north....not shocking and by no means politically fueled...it's Coppertone and condo fueled.
 
People move to Florida because Disney World is there - and Disney are the ones that popularized the myth that Lemmings jump to their death, so Covidiots want to move there...

People are moving to less densely populated areas. 6 of the top 10 are among the 20 least densely populated states in the country, and the others (including Florida) all have large areas people can move with very low population density.

Among the top 10 destination states there are politics of all kinds.

And I've been hearing about people fleeing Oregon and Kate Brown as well. Yet Oregon is also still a top 10 destination...

I don't think the Governor matters as much as people like to think it does.

It sure is. The way some in here would have it, though, is that those same folks should would be wise to flee DeathSentence and the state as a whole.

As long as Oregon is less expensive than Washington and California our population will keep increasing. And prices will as well.

It will take a big, long term catastrophe to change that. Bigger and longer term than covid-19...

Maybe a full Cascadia quake would do it...
