Got flu shot and COVID boosted a couple weeks ago. About the time my youngest had this shitty cold that's been going around.

Of course we all got it... But we're all mostly over it. The youngest is feeling pretty good finally.
 
Lucia is taking care of me. Sore throat, runny nose, chills. No appetite. Made tea and eating a couple of crackers even though I don't want them. Warm cat on lap. Chest is clear. I work from home but still taking tomorrow off.

ive been sick all weekend

Monday started with a really bad sore throat but no other symptoms until Friday. Yesterday was really bad. Today has been better because I am taking stronger meds. I’m taking a test tomorrow too
 
It was really sudden. I felt tired but OK, had some things to do this afternoon and got home dragging.

Before Thanksgiving I made all my stocks, chicken, meat, vegetable. Tomorrow will open a jar.

It's not fun, but it was bound to happen eventually. Now you'll have the best immunity possible!

Doing video call with Dr tomorrow. Need to find out if I should just stay home and drink tea or more aggressive treatment.

Hopefully she doesn't have the flu in conjunction with covid. We'll get those results soon, but as a pharmacist she has definitely been exposed by fuckwits that come in to get prescriptions when they are experiencing symptoms. Idiots!

Amazing, isn't it?...I can't believe how stupid and uncaring about others that some people can be. Hopefully, she will be fine and won't have to deal with the flu for very long...be safe.

Doctor said pretty much keep doing what I am doing. Called in a prescription for a better cough syrup but I have to get someone to get it for me. It's 7 days isolation, no longer 2 weeks.
My doc is on maternity leave so I got someone else.
