Could Zach end up in Milwaukee?

Zach Randolph on Milwaukee would be comic gold. The guards never give the balls to the big men, and Zach will never give it back. Oh boy.

I don't understand why they'd want to do this. Randolph would make this team look much better offensively on paper, but it wouldn't work out. I don't think Zach Randolph is worth trading for, for anybody. He's the exact opposite of what you want one of your best players to be. He's lazy, overweight, a complete distraction off the court, shows up late to practice, is a black hole, and he would make Milwaukee worse defensively. I wouldn't want a guy like this around my team, let alone taking developmental minutes away from Yi.

Exactly. Even with the right distributor running the offense, I wouldn't want Zach around my team, though.

You were spot on about some things, but one thing Zach isn't is lazy. He's actually a very hard worker.

Do you think a lazy, overweight, undersized PF can easily put up 20/10 in this league on a consistent basis. Being lazy didn't get him that jump shot, it didn't give him post skills, it didn't give him ball handling skills, and it certainly didn't make him a fantastic rebounder. And Zach's weight is what makes him so effective. He's not out of shape, so what's wrong about being 260 lbs? It's not like he's athletic, so his weight couples well with his height, or lack thereof.

I agree with Randolph being a "black hole". But there are many black holes in this league who don't play defense; one of them being Michael Redd. And also, I don't know how accurate your "showing up late for practice is", but I'm pretty sure he hasn't on the Knicks. Nor has he been an off-court distraction this season. And the Bucks have been a poor defensive team for the past couple years now. Trading for Randolph will not make them worse; they will trade poor defenders to us and in return they will get a poor defender(s).

In fact, one NBA head coach said this: "I would've taken that deal in a heartbeat," an impartial head coach said. "The Bucks are saturated with perimeter shooters who would really thrive if defenders had to honor an inside game. Zach draws double teams, no two ways about it. I understand Zach has a past. I understand his personality, issues and liabilities must be managed. I understand his contract is a major league obligation. But if a good team wants to get someplace, someone must be able to get you to that position. If that someone averages 20 and 10 (actually 16.8 points and 10 rebounds in 31.8 minutes) and it's more than he's giving up at the other end, you pull the trigger."

But we know how accurate the New York Post is...

Seems even to me. I can see the advantages and disadvantages for both sides.
