Chris Sheridan lost any credibility he may have had. Rice made him look like an idiot.

Sheridan went on about how the Nets wanted to pick Cousins instead of Favors but didnt, eventually traded favors for williams and now could lose williams. so they should of drafted coousins. But that had nothing to do with Drummond, which is what Sheridan was trying to compare too...

very odd

He said Portland had to take Drummond if he was there at 6, because big guys are hard to come by. But then he says Portland had to make up for their mistake of Drafting Oden over Durrant. Isn't that contradicting himself?

Rice pointed out Memphis choosing a center over talent (Thabeet) simply because they didn't have one , and Sheridan got flustered, and started babbling about NJ drafting Character over Cousins and just was all over the place. He didn't sell his website very well.

Ha! They are making fun of him now and his 4:21 response.

Amick: Sacramento looking to move back and has talked to Portland....

#5 and #11 +?

Although it won't happen, trade #11, and the 2nd round picks for #5, and throw in Jamal Crawford (I read somewhere he could be traded if he un-opts out..wait, reality called, he won't opt out).

Ok, seriously though, trade #11, maybe a player (Williams? Smith? Matthews?) for #5. And then promise Sacramento to lose a few games next year.

Or maybe, trade next years pick (top X protected)....

Oooh...that picture of Stephen A Smith is making me craze cheese Puffs!

Wow the old Duck assist (Dunlap) is the new coach of Charlotte? He never got a major head coach job in College. I assume that was a Jordan move and not a "Cho Choice". Damn they are one cheap franchise.

Dunlap knows his shit. It's a very good X's and O's hire

Hmm.

#5 and Salmons for #11, Wes, 3 million cash, rights to Freeland and Claver, both seconds? Is that enough? Maybe an additional 1st in 2015?

Just watched the encore broadcast and I really get the sense that Mike Rice thinks Drummond = Thabeet.

sac would be happy to dump salmons im sure...no thanks

We all know offensively Drummond is a huge project

And then you factor in if Drummond really loves the game or not

I can see where Rice is coming from

The only question mark with Drummond is his motor and desire to play. I'm sure the Blazers have a good idea where he is on that, and draft night we will know too.

I love, love, love the idea of getting 5 for 11, but have a hard time seeing it happening.

Those are both huge question marks to have.

That would be crazy good. The first six or seven players in this draft is where it's at.

i think he does in the sense that there are other quality players he would rather Portland take. But not in the sense that Drummond will have a hard time getting minutes on a lottery team. (Like Thabeet) But I do respect his opinion when it comes to draft picks. He has an inside source back East that I think feeds him information.

I just listed to Courtside and Amick just said trading back. Not necessarily to 11. It could be that it was talk about switching 5 for 6. Just thought I would clarify.

His offensive/post skills are also question marks if you ask me. So is that 29% free throw percentage.

If that happened I would lose my shit. Straight up lose it. Especially if we some how ended up with MKG and Drummond. Sign Steve Nash and run run run. That would be awesome.

Yeah, Sheridan was horrible....but Rice is way off...Drummond is nowhere near Thabeet....Even during the draft the analysts were stunned that MEM took Thabeet at #2...He had\has zero offensive game, wasn't nearly as athletic as Drummond was, had poor bball IQ and was known to be lazy....

I don't think Drummond has much of an offensive game, hasn't shown a great bball IQ (definitely better than Thabeet's though..), and is known to be lazy. He's obviously in a different league athletically though.

Mike Rice is agreeing with you. His point was that you don't take a Thabeet @2 when you have a Harden available. He did not say Drummond was like Thabeet. He was saying you don't take a big just because you need one. Memphis did that was was burned. Take the BPA. Isn't that what you have been saying?

Yeah, but in this case I think Drummond even with the risks is the better BPA than Lillard, Rice feels differently and mainly b\c Drummond will take longer to develop.....although who knows how POR mgmt ranks them, they might even have some other player (Waiters? Jones?) ranked there for all we know....

Sheridan made no sense with his Cousins rant. Didn't the Kings want to dump Cousins for crap? I think they'd gladly of traded him for Favors. Then Chris went off about how his website has 100years of basketball experience. Maybe he should find someone with 6 months of interview experience. Very odd segment.

I would love to somehow trade 11 for 5. Wesley/Babbitt/Nolan/Freeland/#40 lets get that done! Then add free agents like Dragic and Hawes.

Who would you pick with the #5 and #6, assuming we traded all of the guys you listed and were somehow guaranteed to sign Dragic and Hawes?

Barnes and Drummond?
Drummond and Waiters?
Barnes and Waiters?
Barnes and Lillard?
Drummond and Lillard?
