The numbers say otherwise, but defensive numbers are always weird. Most Houston fans seem to think very little of his defense and his mobility. As well as quite a few comments I've seen on twitter after his release talking about how he's just a name at this point.
Yes he shoots 3s, but at 33%. And he's under 50% at the rim. If he's just a crappy 3 point shooter with nothing offered at the rim, I think we're better off with Covington getting minutes at backup 5, honestly.

I drove Naito today. It’s totally tore up (due to construction projects). Waterfront park was hopping with homeless people (people who were without their houses for the moment because they left them at home while enjoying walking and frolicking on the waterfront).

Career 54% on high usage. Dude needs touches. It’s gonna be another Melo situation. For someone in his role, we need guys that do the small stuff, not just show up on the box score.

I mean, there are certainly more homeless folks at the moment. For sure. But it ain’t a city in fire. No more than any other metro area dealing with declining occupancy in commercial spaces (which is pretty much every metro area in the country).

The Houston Rockets have guaranteed the contract of DeMarcus Cousins for the remainder of the season.

Cousins is on a $2.3 million non-guaranteed contract.

Teams have until February 27th to make decisions on non-guaranteed deals.

Not conflicting. They guaranteed him yesterday. Now moving on, either waive or trade. I think yesterday was a move made as a respectful gesture to a veteran. We'll guarantee your deal, but we want to move on.

They have been open lately for a few hours at a time. Very strange. Must be doing that to keep their business license going. But you will see the OPEN sign and it's packed, then it's shut a couple hours later! Damn their food is good too.

Super bomb! My first job my sophomore summer was washing dishes there. Owned now by a good friend of ours from HS and her husband Rashad Floyd, ex football player. They have put a ton of money into it. Les mom and pop feel now, but still fantastic.

Been going there since I was a kid. You don't grow up NE without knowing about Amalfi's i guess.
 
You pass in a heartbeat on a center who is making 0.376 of his shots. No brainer.
 
I really don’t wanna shit on Kanter because he’s so likable, but he’s so bad defensively and a horrible fit with our guards/system. I’m not even saying Cousins is necessarily the answer, but Neil needs to push his feelings aside and do what’s best for the team and find someone better.
 
Enes and Dame virtually carried us through a good long win streak after Nurk and CJ went down and we lose one game and he gets thrown under the bus.....man. People wonder why free agents didn't want to come here? I watched Boogie play one game and wasn't impressed with his motor...seemed sluggish and slow to me...didn't rebound much...season avg of 9 pts....if you go after another big not sure he'd be my target but the media is shopping him and praising his recent numbers so....he's being marketed right now
