COVID & the NBA

Maybe Irving will never get Covid. Maybe he will. But his chances to acquire it will be higher than most once he begins to travel with the team on the road. Selfishness rules the day today. No surprise here. The vaccine is not fool proof, but it has shown it makes getting it, much more survivable .
I will buy you a drink next M&G if Kyrie plays the rest of the season and doesn't get covid

Will you buy my jersey too?

Nice to see Kyrie back.

Good thing the vaccine is preventing another bubble or pause in play.

Oh, wait…

But seriously, interesting choice by the Nets.

This is the Premier League schedule for today:

As a Leeds fan, kinda hoping that one gets cancelled too...

The season is going to be "paused," I absolutely guarantee it. But the questions are
1. Before Xmas or after?
2. For how long?
3. Will they just ban fans from stadia or will they have another bubble? (I bet against the bubble, even though they really should.)

Here's hoping Chauncey uses the pause time to go back to Ty Lue Basketball School.

At this point, honestly the NBA just needs to do a covid-19 party and take a couple weeks off. Just push everything back 2 weeks... Everybody is going to catch Omicron anyway.

Everyone's going to die, too. Hey, maybe that was Jim Jones's whole idea...

I just think it's the best way to keep playing the most games while being the lowest threat to society.
If they aren't going to stop playing, it's best to rip off the bandaid and keep them all quarantined for a couple weeks.

Okay not going to lie but this is the most enjoyable news I’ve seen regarding the nba this year. Who didn’t See this coming from a million miles away?

Quick, all these players should change their names to Lebron James to get back on the court.

Guys I don't know for sure if this means what you think it means. I think this means that for the first time this season Kyrie has entered into league mandated protocols for all players and specifically ones for unvaccinated players regarding testing and for him a certain amount of isolation that it's going to take for him to practice and play with the team. I don't think this points in any way to a positive test by Kyrie.

I'm not saying this because I agree with Kyrie, he's an absolute dumbass. I think it's incredibly irresponsible for anyone in any community who can be vaccinated to go unvaccinated but I'm not shocked by the actions of a self serving flat earther like Kyrie Irving... I just don't think these reports point towards Kyrie being infected.

It can mean he's had contact with someone infected and needs to test twice negative or it means he's contracted it....they haven't defined it....KD is going through it too....

They said Kyrie needs to test negative for five consecutive days and I think that's the protocol for someone who is unvaccinated entering into the league's system.
