S. Korea's numbers are considerably better than everyone else's, especially since they were the earliest to be infected.
Time to nuke them for making us look bad.

It's not looking good...but I was noticing that chart and that the # of people in the US that have been tested (1707) was as of March 8th...as far as I can tell as of now about 200,000 have been tested.
Testing more by itself doesn't make the disease go away. You also have to act on the results of the test. Not clear we are succeeding at that either.

That's a big issue. By not jumping on this immediately and getting people tested we have no idea how many are truly infected and are carrying the disease and the numbers are just now being exposed for how serious it is here as tests are finally starting to be administered and all trump wants to do is blame past administrations for lack of preparedness. The fucking idiot has been in office for 3 1/2 years and did nothing but cutback on important programs to pay for his fucking wall and other entitlements for his rich buddies.
fwiw, I was commenting only on the number of tests.
Can't nuke them, they're our friends and besides they're also not China. I'd suggest nuking N. Korea as an acceptable substitute but they're good buddies with Trump what with exchanging love letters and all.Time to nuke them for making us look bad.

Interesting. I made reservations two months ago for 2 nights in Clarksdale MS for a Blues Trail wander. The reservations are for Mid May, so I’ve refrained from cancelling. And ironically, I got an email this afternoon from the (very nice) place I’d be staying, saying they still hope for our business, they’ve gone overboard on disinfection, yada, yada, yada. They really made a push for us to “come on down” despite the jukes being closed and no live music happening. I feel sorry for them but I was already reluctant to drive 2600 miles just for the history. But if those crackers aren’t truly taking this shit seriously, they certainly don’t need my tourist dollars. I appreciate the heads up.Governor of Mississippi not only refuses to put any shutdown in place, he issued an executive order overturning all city and town shutdowns in the state, ordering schools and businesses to reopen. Businesses that had begun implementing work from home were ordered to have employees work in person in offices. Mississippi borders Louisiana and Alabama, with major outbreaks. Yet governor said the state won't have outbreak because it isn't China (neither is Italy last time I checked).
But he did call for a day of prayer.

What a 100% total idiot who's going to get a lot of people needlessly killed.Governor of Mississippi not only refuses to put any shutdown in place, he issued an executive order overturning all city and town shutdowns in the state, ordering schools and businesses to reopen. As did Texas and Ohio, because pandemics are perfect time for unplanned pregnancies. Also has called for a ban on abortions during the coronavirus.
