This is the same way of thinking from people who on one hand believe that aborting an unborn fetus is "murder" but also believe that it's OK to execute an actual human being via the death penalty.

Nobody is allowed to kill babies. They are allowed to abort a fetus before it reaches viable age which I believe is before a functional nervous system is developed. The fetus doesn't even have a brain that is functional.
I might add that abortions are allowed in my church and I believe they are allowed in the Lutheran church as well. I think they are only disallowed in the Mormon and Catholic churches.
