Problem is there's an influx of shitcoins, and everyone is chasing the hottest new trend. Who knows what will end up happening now.
THis is pretty crazy. I'm staying out for a bit.Problem is there's an influx of shitcoins, and everyone is chasing the hottest new trend. Who knows what will end up happening now.
HODL!!!
Time to buy.Guys, what the fuck is going on? I've lost about 6k in value the past few days. Haven't sold a thing and haven't bought either. WTF is going on here?
You'd better believe in it. It's going to be where we all are within your children's lifetime. Maybe not mine or yours but it's coming. In the words of Bill Maher...crypto currency is like Tinkerbell's fairy dust....it's magical but only if you believe in it.
nah....I've done my financial investments for this life already....I played the money market with quite a bit of success in the 80s.....lost a chunk on the Euro when it first came out....the cyber currency world is not going to have any impact on my world as far as I can see.....I'm in spend it mode now....good luck to all who want to prop it up or invest though....I think it's fairy dust. I'll just make do with property and the dead president trading cards as it isYou'd better believe in it. It's going to be where we all are within your children's lifetime. Cant go wrong with properties. Did that when I was late 20's (a couple rental houses) for growth income. I have a good friend that retired 5 years ago and started flipping houses, did much of the work himself, and did very well. Not much inventory now.nah....I've done my financial investments for this life already....I played the money market with quite a bit of success in the 80s.....lost a chunk on the Euro when it first came out....the cyber currency world is not going to have any impact on my world as far as I can see.....I'm in spend it mode now....good luck to all who want to prop it up or invest though....I think it's fairy dust. You absolutely cannot go wrong on property. Problem right now is there is no inventory to speak of. Every house is a bidding war it seems.nah....I've done my financial investments for this life already....I played the money market with quite a bit of success in the 80s.....lost a chunk on the Euro when it first came out....the cyber currency world is not going to have any impact on my world as far as I can see.....I'm in spend it mode now....good luck to all who want to prop it up or invest though....I think it's fairy dust. Exactly. I'm still holding. I pretty much can't find a good buy on a house to flip.Cant go wrong with properties. Did that when I was late 20's (a couple rental houses) for growth income. I have a good friend that retired 5 years ago and started flipping houses, did much of the work himself, and did very well. Not much inventory now.
right now is a terrible time to buy, great time to sell...I'm telling my son he should consider cashing out on his beautiful home and live out here in our guest house until the market is ready for buying again. I could make a lot of money selling my acres out here but I'm not doing that until I'm ready to relocate.....which may just be never. Considering buying my cousin's bed and breakfast operation in New Zealand and retiring there for half the year but I'm attached to my new grandson now and he's going to be here for a long time. His other grandfather has already set up his college fund at the U of O.Exactly. I'm still holding. I pretty much can't find a good buy on a house to flip.
yeah it's all good...glad to hear you were so successful with it.....I didn't coin the fairy dust tag...that was billionaire Bill Maher who owns the New York Mets now.....I heard him talking about it....I made a bundle on Japanese Yen but lost on Euro dollars....my mutual funds and PERS have done the job....everyone who's invested in something should have some faith in it...that's for sure..I'm actually enjoying this time of life more than I ever thought I wouldYeah, fairy dust or not, it's allowed us to be able to retired early and enjoying the good life. Our children are going to be financially set (or at least with a nice head start), and even paid off all college tuitions (and some) for my nephews. Of course, I was an early investor, so people who invest much later might not see such crazy returns. But anyway, I think you're way off in calling it "fair dust." Cryptocurrency is here to stay, and it's still only in its infancy. But I totally get the skeptics that can't quite grasp why this is such a phenomenon.
Maher has a minority stake in it and is rich as fuck.....I stand corrected if he's not...thought he was listed at a billion and a half estate but he is only worth 100million..he talks about how he got that wealthy in interviews...I listened to him on Maron and he was saying he could buy into the Mets because he'd never married, had kids, expensive shopping habits and his only drug was pot which he gets for free....doesn't gamble, collect cars or watches or bling...interesting guy whether you like his politics or not. Definitely a savvy businessmanI think you mean Steve Cohen?
He's worth 100 million and has a minority stake in the Mets.....just looked that shit up....my mistake.Yeah, Bill Maher the HBO political satire talk show host guy is definitely not a billionaire, unless we are talking in Dong.
And Warren Buffet's been saying that bitcoin will go the way of the tulips ever since bitcoin was priced at less than $100! lol
