Comcast SportsNet (CSNNW.com) is looking to fire up a new web feature this season for Trail Blazer fans and while we already do a lot around traditional social media (twitter, fb, ig) we haven't yet gotten the forum community involved.

At minimum, we'd like it to start out as a written piece of content where selected members that frequent this board can get involved with some of our various on-air talent (Jabari Young, Dwight Jaynes, Dan Sheldon, Jamie Hudson, etc) to talk, discuss, and analyze whatever the recent hot topic items are for the Blazers on any given week.

If the participation was quality, we could see this evolving into a video feature for our website at CSNNW.com.

If you're a member here and would be interested in participating we'd love to hear your ideas about what sort of shape this feature could take. Q & A? Roundtable? Previews? Analysis? Opponent breakdowns?

I am not a frequenter of this board (well at least not in the past!) so I'm not sure what sort of topics you guys discuss here on a regular basis and we are open to ideas.

So Comcast is SPAMMING our forum now?

Fuck Comcast.

Give me back my Blazers you fucking douchebag, how about we talk about that?

Lol I don't think this was the response he was looking for. Poor Comcast guy

Eh, we hear it all. Next someone will cleverly call us 'Comcrap' and think they are hilarious. Truth is I work for CSN a division of NBC Sports so I don't really have anything to do with anyone's Comcast cable or internet.

This is classic.

I don't think we need to beat this guy up, he's just doing his job. That being said you might want to go back to your boss and talk about improving the company's community relations before pursuing this venture.

Now if you happen to be the boss...See the above "F Comcast" statements.

Totally understand the issues at hand. If this isn't an idea people here are interested in then we just move on.

I'm pretty sure of two things.

One, this guy is involved in their media or digital media production side of things.
Two, you attract more flies with honey than with vinegar.

I will join this new board and hereby suicide this monniker. My password is: Gofuckyourself1

Hey Kevin, it's great to see you here. As you can tell there are some people who are not happy with your parent company, lol. Don't sweat it, most are all bark and no bite.

Come on, how about we give Kevin a break, lol.

Yeah guys, let's abandon here and go to the Comcast forum. Good idea.

I'm with Sly. While it's true that CSN has pretty much poisoned the well in Portland with their policies about allowing other cable and satellite companies to carry Blazer broadcasts, the production people at CSSNW don't have anything to do with those policies. I don't see any issue with talking basketball with some of their on-air folks. Might be fun.

I'm down! Which leg?

I kid, I kid.

Seriously, though, a lot of people in here (myself included) have been very critical of the opinions of and conclusions by on-air talent at CSNNW, and I think that a few people in here (myself NOT included) could intelligently and respectfully debate said talent.

Kevin, I sincerely hope someone takes you up on your offer, and I hope that someone represents the forum, the Blazer fan base, and yes, even Comcrap well.

They're not trying to start a forum, they're looking to do something that's complementary to their existing WWW site.

I've never met this guy, this thread came out of the blue. It seems like a good opportunity to get more publicity for what we do here.

I saw this as a challenge to "try harder".

Is there any way to make it so it will be my voice talking on the panel discussion with Dwight Jaynes, but the body on the television is a shirtless Mick Zagger?

I echo both sides. People know my level of disdain for comcast, but no one individual should be having things thrown at them.

It's a cool idea. I do find it kinda coincidental that it comes right as the press pass thing is happening. Is this coincided? I dunno, it'd be fun to do something like this.
