BRING BACK ABBEY CHIN.
This is easily one of the most entertaining parts of my job is seeing all the positive/negative feedback about on-air talent. We've never had anyone that didn't get both hate email/tweets and also "we love ____!"

So we were told not to post links to Comcast material in our forum but we are supposed to help with this project?
This sort of thing might be open to negotiation if we can work with them.

Free CSNW including all Blazers broadcasts for the life of Comcast's Blazers contract, or no deal.3 months free HBO for everyone who signs up.
Yeah, until you actually see a shirtless Mick Zagger. Now, this is funny.
If I'm not mistaken, I believe Chris Haynes' content was being copy/pasted here in its entirety. That's a lot different than linking to our stories.
We love links.
We love quoting a few sentences and linking to the original story (ie: BlazersEdge). We don't love people copy/pasting our content on to their sites.
Doesn't seem unreasonable.
I agree. If someone puts in the effort, you should not be able to read the entire content on this forum. The story we got was that they did not want stories on the Comcast site linked to this one because they wanted people to talk about the articles in the Comcast forum.
Little help Denny?
What's the copyright law?
I don't go to other sites. I expect everything to be posted here to read in it's entirety. If not, then they can eat a dick!
A simple click is not asking much. Do you like doing work and have someone else benefit from it without giving back?
We don't want to get into a lawsuit with CSN, sheesh
Or anyone else, really.
Umm, that's why I'm asking
I always post the link with the entire article!they can go there for their own pleasure

There seems to be some confusion. What is the actual copyright law on posting full articles? Anyone? They asked us to stop, we did. I don't see there's any beef between us. In fact, they're here looking to work with us. I think there's a lot of potential if we can.
I hope your neighbors are not leaving the bowl of candy on the porch with the sign pleading to only take one piece.
Comcast SportsNet (CSNNW.com) is looking to fire up a new web feature this season for Trail Blazer fans and while we already do a lot around traditional social media (twitter, fb, ig) we haven't yet gotten the forum community involved.
At minimum, we'd like it to start out as a written piece of content where selected members that frequent this board can get involved with some of our various on-air talent (Jabari Young, Dwight Jaynes, Dan Sheldon, Jamie Hudson, etc) to talk, discuss, and analyze whatever the recent hot topic items are for the Blazers on any given week.
If the participation was quality, we could see this evolving into a video feature for our website at CSNNW.com.
If you're a member here and would be interested in participating we'd love to hear your ideas about what sort of shape this feature could take. Q & A? Roundtable? Previews? Analysis? Opponent breakdowns?
I am not a frequenter of this board (well at least not in the past!) so I'm not sure what sort of topics you guys discuss here on a regular basis and we are open to ideas.
In this case, I say with all seriousness: "read some threads, then ask again." There's something of everything--humor, satire, meme creation, game thread domination and some real pros at x's and o's. Some guys are coaches, some guys are scouts, some guys have pizza guys who give them scoops on trade rumors. All are knowledgeable and articulate Blazer fans.Kingspeed said:Learn the game, then post
