What's the lastest on CSNNW and DirecTV?? Preseason is almost here and I'm contemplating switching to Comcast if that's the only way I can watch the Blazers on TV for 82 games. Vancouver/Portland area. Thank you.

Doesn't look like CSNNW will be on Directv in time for the season. I'll be adding Comcast again for the season it appears. :sigh:

I doubt they'l get CSNNW on Direct or Dish for thi season.

I'm hoping the CSN games will be streamed on trailblazers.com this season like they did for the KGW games last year (for a small $fee$).

I hope CSNNW Fornicates themselves with a branding iron.

Two superpowers with way more power than the Blazers fighting it out on that one. Neither is giving much ground, so I wouldn't count on anything until another contract is up for renewal.

I think many around the Portland area are moving to Verizon FIOS which offers CSNNW with their basic cheapest packages and up from there, so you don't have to pay some $50+/month just to get into Comcast's decent plans with ESPN and sports packages, you can get into some lower tier packages with FIOS that have all of the basic cable channels most people want for 3/4 of the price.

Problem is FIOS is still spreading out their infrastructure and aren't all around the metro area yet. But you should check and see if they are in your neighborhood or coming soon if you don't want to support Comcast but still want to get the games.

Or maybe we could all go over to the Hollinger mansion to watch!

The Mullet enjoys a friendly gathering. Bring it if sports, food and drink are involved.

The Mullet does not find sleazy, diseased filled, brainless women who sleep with men for money - attractive. The Mullet likes his health and spends his money a bit more wisely. The Mullet also has an attractive wife, who is a former gymnast and NCAA-IA cheerleader who has a great job and a college degree. Yes, The Mullet WILL pass on the dirty-tutes.

But, go at it, self-professed math man who can't type in complete sentences (words and sentence structure are similar to numbers). As a self-described insider (who lacks valuable information) who types over 100 words per minute and stares at the diplomas on his wall while receiving calls from sports insiders, I'm sure you've got the ladies just falling over you. :rolleyes

I knew that would bring you out of your box.

You've been gone a while, I missed you.

Ya, that's the problem I have is I'm in Gresham, almost into Boring, and FIOS hasn't made it this far. I wish it would if just for the faster internet, but I would drop Comcast for a cheaper FIOS hook up.

I didn't realize you guys had the internet out there!

Seriously.. my attending games has dropped from about 15-20 a year average to 3 this last year... I literally forget the Blazers are playing some nights because of this. It saddens me :(

Wheels called... he almost wants Steve Patterson back ;)

So Wheels is to blame? He wants the guy responsible for this back!?

I knew it! He's a secret Laker fan!

well.... he DID interview for them. ;)

This local channel finally agreed to a deal with Comcast to broadcast all the Ducks games on csnnw down here so i'm hopeful they'll do the same with the Blazers. The channel is also on directv so if anyone knows how to get local channel from Southern Oregon up there it might work if they do get the Blazer games.
