Curry Fading

Curry struggled again last night, scoring 15 points in 39 minutes in the 100-99 loss to Seattle. In the team's last four games, Curry's game has weakened.

The Knicks center has had a breakout year but now looks like he's fading. Curry scored nine points in 30 minutes against Atlanta on Saturday. Afterward, he admitted he's fatigued.

Last night he looked tired again. He went 2-for-6 from the field in the first half and scored six points.

Curry was not just bad from the field. He struggled from the foul line, going 5-of-10, and had five turnovers.

The Sonics doubled Curry consistently, leading to frustration for the big man. Since Jamal Crawford was sidelined last week, teams have become more creative in finding ways to limit Curry.

"It's crazy," he said. "I didn't think it could get any worse. I think teams are definitely coming in with the mindset that they're not going to let me beat them. They're not going to let me have my way in the post." </div>

Not at all. Since Curry's emergence he is being doubled constantly--sometimes tripled. He's just going to have to find a way to adjust to his new found respect in the league. His presence alone has created quality shot opprtunities for <u>everyone</u> on the floor.

No one's saying he's a superstar, but this season, he's been a top 5 center.
