What if it comes down to we can keep LMA or we can keep Matthews and Lopez? I want to keep all three but this team as constructed would be better keeping Matthews and Lopez than LMA.

I disagree. Everyone who watched the games Aldridge missed last year saw how stagnate the offense was after the first 5 games. Once there was tape on the team and teams started to really focus on Lillard it was easily visible how much the team missed Aldridge. I don't think this team is any better suited to be without Aldridge than it was last year.
Just don't get easy shots without him on the court for the rest of the team.
Don't throw Kaman out and tell me PER this PER that. Most useless stat in the NBA.
Reason why x player only plays limited minutes. Injuries... stamina... age... poor when game planned against. Better in short stints.


Not to mention the rebounding numbers teams put up against the Blazers without Aldridge on the court.
For everyone pointing to how Aldridge hasn't been rebounding this year... Well no shit he's been guarding Kevin Love who takes long jump shots solely. And Dirk who rarely is in the paint.
Even Dramon Green can shoot the 3 ball. Not excusing Aldridge, he has been an issue with rebounding.. he has to get back in and rebound the ball. But there are factors that allow one to get more boards.

Not to mention Stotts was brought into Maximize Aldridge. If Aldridge goes, so should Stotts.
