This season it wasn't a given. Our team didn't get wins, the field of guards was nuts and Dame just played enough games for his numbers to count as far as the league leaders are concerned. So I was really happy just to see him in the group, I'm not too hung up on where he landed.
Dame played more games than Curry.
Just one of my points. All of those guys' teams ended up with a lot more success than ours did. I think it's great that Dame made it. Now a seven time all nba superstar! Only all nba guys this season with more are LeBron and Steph.
Dame is Dame and having that kind of character and Q Score counts when things are close. I think Dame accounting for more points than anyone in the league besides Luka made it kind of hard to leave him off of the team... that being said 35 of the 100 voters didn't have Dame on their ballot.
Except Mitchell led his team to 50 wins. Dame led his team to 5th best lotto odds.
Except in the most important ability... availability. He missed 29% of the season.

Don't know, don't care. Dame had arguably his best individual season in a hall of fame career and deserved to get on, lottery team around him or not.
I have nothing to do with who makes these teams or what rational is used, but quite clearly games played is an important factor for the media types who do. Thats not just this year or applied only to outstanding Trailblazers, thats every year & every player.
Ja had a good year, for sure, but his team played pretty well without him. And he's a douche. Dame was better. And Sharpe had the dunk of the year IMO.
