Notice Dame - "I play the hand I was dealt"

Welcome to our community

Be a part of something great, join today!

the nights where our backcourt look amazing seem to be more than counterbalanced by the times we get exploited to hell n back due to lack of size and D

offensively, some nights, they can be the best thing since sliced bread. but holy bejesus the flipside of that is REALLY terribad.

I think CJ would be the one moved as Dame is the real leader for the team, although there isnt a ton between them on the court.

real point is who could we realistically even get? we need a legit sized SG, and a decent starting SF and PF.

Why can't we win with this backcourt? They aren't the problem. It's the pieces around him. Same with Rasheed Wallace. We could've won with him but we never put the pieces around him that Detroit had.

You think Detroit won because if sheed...that their team was built around him...hahaha

You’re a returning user under a new name, and you’re like the only person here who thinks I’m not a returning user under a new name.

I like you. I'll give you pass on the crunchy cheetos

I am so sick of this passive aggressive "small hipster backwoods flannel cracker shithole" narrative that NBA social media paints Portland into. It used to be a background noise but now it's a siren. Green Bay has the Packers. San Antonio has the Spurs. The Mariners are just about to sign to maybe the best Japanese baseball player ever specifically because they are a SMALL MARKET West Coast franchise. Every team has difficulties marketing itself until they are finally successful with that one big name free agent that makes a difference. It's just the NBA talent pool is small and it is the single most hyper-marketed sport in the world. All our failed FA attempts are magnified and it feeds this overgeneralized narrative that we harm our players' national profile. But Dame's brand isn't suffering and he's known for being who he is precisely because he plays in Portland. The chip on his shoulder. Dame Time. The same way Diego Valeri is known for being the Timbers go to guy. (Who just won league MVP BTW.)

Maybe we should he looking elsewhere to a GM who is so quick to point how shitty the local valet parking is when selling all the fine points of this wonderful town????
