OT Dame Joins the Protest

Welcome to our community

Be a part of something great, join today!

He absolutely did not and this is a false media narrative that's being debunked all over twitter. The video is available.

In fact, here's the correction just published by the WASHINGTON POST:

CORRECTION
A previous version of this story incorrectly said that the president called the jobs report a “great day” for George Floyd, the black man killed by white police in Minneapolis. In fact, the president was referring to growing calls for equal justice under the law.

It's disappointing that there is so much fake news out there....and on purpose. There was another story about how dire the uneployment situation was and that it was near 20% when in reality, it dropped by 2,500,00. Journalism from the vast majority of the media is dead. Sadly, people still believe much of the blatant untruth.

Please, we need to keep politics out of the main forum.

I know it's difficult but let's focus on Dame, what a great man we have leading our favorite team.

The Trump shit needs to stop or I will have to move this thread to the OT section.

Thanks.
There's no way this thread isnt political, it's based on Dame protesting police brutality....

It's kind of why i put an "OT" title on it. Probably should have just posted it in the OT section and let it go full on Trump bashing.

Somewhere, Bill Walton is smiling.

But for totally unrelated reasons. Bill is probably smiling because he just rode his bicycle to the top of the tallest mountain in San Diego and spoke to the stars, the universe, and learned about how the bees and squirrels are combining forces to create a cleaner and more efficient way of the world to expand on the galaxy, while leading everyone to a peaceful co-habitation, which is surpassed only by the brilliant passing of Pistol Pete, who was arguably one of the best purest shooters in the history of the game, and despite his floppy socks and hair, was quite a musician in his own right, depending on how often his best teammate ever, Maurice Lucas, would gather the strength of the Blazermaniacs...those Blazermaniacs who would stomp their feet in unison and draw on the power of Dr Jack Ramsay and Lionel Hollins and will us to victory over Dr J and the vaunted Philadelphia 76ers.

That's pretty rich, right there. Good job.

Did you get into Bill's stash last night?

Dammit.

And not for the reasons you might think. He's risking exposure to the 'rona! I want my NBA back!

With the high fatality rate among blacks, does anyone know if the infection rate is also higher? (The fatalities are linked to underlying health conditions, but might that also make people more susceptible to getting it in the first place?) I haven't seen data on that, and of course, the accuracy of it would be in question because of testing limitations. It would be interesting to see if the return of the "big" sports is putting predominately black athletes at undue risk, though.

Unfortunately, FB won't let me post the video...

It lets me click on it, but nothing happens. Does that Sly with all the videos posted on here unless it's a tweet.
