Personally, I think a guy can't be on an NBA roster if you're going to say that he came from the D League.

Tim Frazier came from the D League. Nobody in the NBA cared about him, he went and won the MVP in the D League, and then the Blazers picked him up. That's COMING from the D League, in my mind. Just logging a few games while still being on an NBA roster isn't really coming from the D League. That's why we call it "relegated" or "sent down."

I think we're thinking the same thing, just a touch off. Lets say we set the bar at 40 games played (that's almost a whole d-league season).

Actually there is. The cap went up for everyone and once durant and lebron and horford are off the market, there's going to be a lot of teams with cash.

I don't feel like each team has at least $15M in cap space. Teams like OKC, CLE, TOR, LAC, MIA, ATL, SAS, and GSW will all be maxed out if they just return their guys.

Why not? It's a better product than half the league and I don't have to pay them a cent.
